Networks Won’t Call Plight of Middle Eastern Christians ‘Genocide’
It was a rare moment -- a network reporter cluing viewers in on the ongoing atrocities against Christians in the Middle East
“Much like Syria and Iraq the terrorist group has made their presence known in the country [Libya], carrying out several gruesome beheadings including this one last February, allegedly showing militants killing Coptic Christians on a beach near Tripoli,” said CBS News…
'Supergirl' Litmus Test for New Employees: No Republicans Need Apply
In the episode “Falling,” Supergirl’s Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) needs a replacement for Lucy Lane, who resigned from CatCo during last week’s show. When Kara (Melissa Benoist) tells her she has a list of qualified applicants who are ranked according to the “least annoying,” Cat asked if there were any Republicans. Kara answers, yes – but they're reformed. Cat, a Hillary supporter, is happy…
ABC’s Ignorance of the Republican Party Exposed in Drama ‘The Family’
I’ve been wary of how ABC’s new suspense drama The Family would play politics from the beginning. The main character Claire Warren (Joan Allen), whose son has mysteriously reappeared after being missing and thought dead for 10 years, is a Republican running for governor in a campaign run by her daughter, Willa. It took until the third episode, “Of Puppies and Monsters,” for them to finally start…
Duke President: False Rape Accusations 'Distracting'
After Duke University administrators slandered innocent coaches and players, falsely accusing them of being Neanderthal racist rapists and lording their privilege over those that they oppress, there apparently will not be any outpouring of grief and remorse.
Tim Allen on ‘Last Man Standing:’ Obamacare ‘Failed’
Tim Allen (as Mike Baxer) is always good for a conservative political joke on ABC's Last Man Standing. Tonight he took a jab at the failure of Obamacare.
LGBT Activists to NCAA: No Waivers to ‘Religious-Based Institutions'
College is an ideological and intellectual “safe zone.” That is unless you’re a university that disagrees with the social justice warriors currently running the LGBT movement. Then it’s a kill zone.
USA Today: MLB Really, Really, Really, Wants a Gay Baseball Player
Major League Baseball does not have an openly gay baseball player. But Major League Baseball really, really, really wants to have an openly gay baseball player. At least, that’s the story as told by USA Today’s Bob Nightengale.
NC Paper Wouldn't Say Sex Offender Backed NC Transgender Bathroom Bill
The term “sex offender” screams media-bait – except if he happens to back a transgender bill that could result in men entering women’s bathrooms. That wouldn't bode so well for the liberal media's agenda.
One major N.C. newspaper mentioned his conviction only after he resigned as an LGBT leader – and after a conservative organization repeatedly contacted the outlet for more than a month.
Priest and Nun Visit Sex Cult, Marry on ‘You, Me, and the Apocalypse’
It's fair to say that most of us would probably want one last sexual encounter if we knew the world was ending. Kind of sad, really, that we as a species have placed such a high priority on sex. Regardless, it is apparent that NBC's You, Me and the Apocalypse feels as though humanity would simply devolve into one giant orgy if the planet's demise were imminent – even among those who have taken a…
'The Carmichael Show’ Laughs at Bernie Sanders as ‘Viable Candidate’
Not a ton to dive into here. But any time you find a network primetime show that, though predictably biased, also picks at both sides and is actually funny, then credit is due.
ESPN’s Mike Ditka Pulled After Calling Obama ‘Worst President’
Not so much as a week has gone by since ESPN’s Mike Ditka offered the opinion (correctly) that Barack Obama is ‘the worst President we’ve ever had.’ And apparently, less than a week is all it took for ESPN to decide to pull ‘Da Coach’ from the network’s premier Sunday pregame show ‘Sunday NFL Countdown.’
'The Real O’Neals' Ratings Plummet
Ratings for ABC’s The Real O’Neals dropped sharply by a third Tuesday after the show’s decent start on Wednesday, March 2.
The show’s first week struck between 1.8 and 1.9 ratings for adults ages 18-49 for the first two episodes. By the third week ratings had sunk to 1.1 for the same age group.
Rowling Insensitive to ‘Native American Wizarding Community'
Call it Harry Potter & the Goblet of Grievance.
J.K. Rowling has run afoul of the Indian indignation industry. According to Huffington Post, the author is in heap-big trouble for not being sufficiently sensitive to the diversity within the “Native American wizarding community.”
From ‘BusHitler’ to Trump: The Nazi Card is a Lib Journalist Specialty
People of all political stripes are from time to time guilty of playing the Hitler card in their criticism of those across the aisle. But liberals get far more of a pass when comparing their opponents to one of probably the three most evil men of the 20th century (Stalin and Mao being the other two).
A popular target for Hitler comparisons lately is Republican presidential frontrunner Donald…
