Kitten Rescue Group Doubles Down on Dehumanizing Conservatives After PETA Rebuke

Imagine being so far left even PETA berates you. That’s what happened to a New York City based kitten rescue group recently after they went viral for announcing a new policy that excludes conservatives, “MAGA,” and even those who are apolitical, from adopting cats from their rescue group. PETA, in turn, publicly stated the policy should be “ reconsidered and abolished.” However, the group’s owner has since doubled down on her hateful stance in another angry rant Sunday evening, warning, “Babes, this isn’t going to end the way you want it to with me.”

The group, Itty Bitty City Kitties, posted a new policy update on their social media accounts this past Tuesday which read, “No F*cking MAGA.” Libs of TikTok shared the post on X which made it go viral:

PETA offered a response to Fox News Digital on the controversy:

"Political affiliation is not a reliable measure of whether someone will be a good guardian," the organization told Fox News Digital, adding that a person's actions and statements, along with demonstrated treatment of people and animals, can be relevant to an adoption decision.

PETA said rescues should focus on "objective animal welfare factors," including an applicant’s history of animal care, ability to meet an animal’s needs and evidence of cruelty, neglect or violence.

"Shelters and rescues exist to protect animals, not to serve as political gatekeepers," PETA said.

Samantha Knox, 43, is the rescue’s director and the person behind the crazed posts. She’s made it clear she deems anyone who isn’t a far-left extremist like herself a Nazi and unsafe for animals. One of her supporters posted on the group’s Facebook page in agreement stating, “Fully support you! I will not adopt foster cats to Nazis either - it's not safe for the animals.”

In response to going viral, and the ensuing nasty messages she’s received over it, Knox doubled down on her hatred and disdain for almost half the voters in this country:

Many of Knox’s posts dating at least as far back as the fall of 2025 are filled with similar hatred and intolerance. While Knox is at least self-aware enough to admit her account is “unhinged” and interestingly claims she “hock(s) kittens,” her political rants are the epitome of TDS and self-righteous, woke virtue signaling.

They’re also dangerous. Depicting good, normal people as dangerous Nazis and racists leads to people becoming radicalized to the point of wanting to harm them, as was the case with Charlie Kirk, someone else Knox blindly hates. It’s ironic to read her denouncements of “hate” and “vitriol,” and for “dehumanize(ing) illegals,” as she dehumanizes everyone who disagrees with her with so much hate and vitriol.

Here’s just a small sample of her rants on Facebook:

In a post on Instagram where she called for ICE to be abolished and vented that Democrats weren’t doing enough about the issue, she said we’re in a “revolution,” and the only way to win is by “storming the g*ddamn room.” She added, “If (Democrats) can’t do the jobs we fucking elected them to do, it’s time to burn this shit to the motherfucking ground.”

Yeah, it’s giving major insurrectionist and BLM vibes. Reverend Jordan Wells emphasized the danger behind Knox’s words on Newsmax this past Sunday:

 

Lidia: And meantime, speaking of people not right in the head, Reverend, a New York City based kitten adoption agency announcing their new policy, no effing Maga. The founder of PETA, which is far. You can't get more left than PETA. They denounced the policy, saying that homeless animals don't care about politics. They care if you give them a good home. The same adoption agency posting earlier that kittens don't mourn Nazis exactly one year after Charlie Kirk's death. So, you have this kitten, this kitten adoption place. They would rather see kittens… cats die than be in the home of, say, a conservative. What is going on?

Reverend Wells: I think we have a real problem in our country with people believing that because you believe. And this goes back to why Charlie Kirk was killed, that if you believe differently than I do, you deserve to die. And that is where, when we grew up, you could be a Democrat or a Republican. Now you're evil if you're a Republican, let's cut off our family members. Let's cut off my mom if she's a MAGA supporter. It's insane. And it goes back to what my brother was just talking about- mental illness. We have a mental health crisis in our country with people who are not mentally stable, but they're making laws. They're over animal organizations, and they are completely and totally sick and need some real treatment and need God as well.

Lidia: Right? These are the same. And you heard that survey that we told you about, that a third of Democrats would be happy if the president of the United States was assassinated.

Lara Trump also offered an excellent response over the weekend on Fox News:

 

Charlie: All right, a New York City kitten rescue is getting political. Posting an adoption policy update on social media, quote, no f-ing Maga. The caption goes on to say, quote, that's the policy. Maga, nope. Conservative, nope. For more on this, let's bring in noted cat lover and dog lover, animal lover, Lara trump, host of "My view." We didn't include the entire thing. They go on in the social media campaign to say, if you're just apolitical, meaning not a left-wing nut job don't apply. Think about what this means for cats, kittens that might get rescued by people who have different political views.

Lara: Yeah, guess what, here is a news flash, Charlie. Animals don't care how you vote. They don't care about politics. Guess what they care about. They care about food and shelter and love and being in a loving home. And I hate to see stuff like this because, listen, as you noted, I am an animal lover, a crazy animal lady for sure and I've spent so much of my life actually going to Washington, D.C., talking to people, trying to make changes in a space, you know, where animals can benefit. And I have been generally pleasantly surprised by the fact that most people, despite their politics and having probably very different politics from me, are willing to come together for some common good here except these crazy people apparently in New York City. Roughly 600,000 dogs and cats a year are euthanized because they can't find a good home. There aren't enough people willing to adopt them and because this group would rather virtue signal than actually care about finding homes for these cats, unfortunately, they're going to be the cause of a lot more deaths because when they can't adopt them out, that's another animal in a shelter who probably will be euthanized. And here is another news flash for these people, guess under which administration animal cruelty and neglect was made a felony? It was under President Donald Trump. It's his USDA, his HHS and his DOJ who are cracking down on puppy mills, who are cracking down on dog fighting, who are eliminating unnecessary animal testing. So, this is a nonpartisan issue, and I hate whenever people politicize this, even PETA, Charlie, came out and said, this is not the way we should operate. Every person regardless of your politics should be able to adopt animals.

Charlie: Anybody who thinks that politics, political views is more important than just taking care of your animal, whether it's a dog, cat, horse, whatever, I would think that that would cause me to doubt their ability to actually take of an animal. So, it is truly, truly insane.

Lara’s right in her assessment, seeing as the rescue made an emergency announcement in July, after many political rants, stating they were full and in need of adopters to help clear out their shelter:
