Even though Democratic presidential candidate Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) wants to break up Big Tech and regulate it, those who profit from the tech industry support her anyway. Warren had her most successful fundraising quarter yet, raising $125,305 from employees at Facebook, Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, and their subsidiaries.  

A new liberal 501(c)(4) “dark money” group linked to the liberal House Majority PAC intends to spend millions on TV and digital ads to help Democrats maintain control of the House of Representatives. Internal Revenue Service rules stipulate that 501(c)(4) organizations cannot make politicking the primary purpose, yet the new group plans to devote 94% of its 2019 budget to ads.

Liberal billionaire George Soros just wrote the “biggest check” of the 2020 election cycle so far to start his own super PAC. Federal Election Commission filings revealed Soros put $5.1 million into the new Democracy PAC, according to Politico. The July 31 article interpreted Soros’ move as an indication he “may be poised to spend heavily in the 2020 elections.”
