One of the few right-wing power players in Big Tech is reportedly backing a dating app that will help conservatives find love amid a liberal culture.

Twitter has expanded its mode aimed at protecting user “safety.” The platform introduced “Safety Mode” in September of last year and said its aim was to “limit unwelcome interactions on Twitter.”

Freedom advocates sounded the alarm as Canada announced potential financial penalties against Canadians trying to support protestors. Commentators condemned Canadian Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland as she announced that banks and payment processors will have the power to shut down accounts associated with Canadian Freedom Convoy protestors without a court order.

Johns Hopkins Professor of Surgery Marty Makary, M.D., M.P.H. said LinkedIn removed a research letter he co-authored because the scientific research allegedly violated its “Professional Community Policies.” He later tweeted that Linkedin reinstated it “after a friend compl[ained] to the CEO.”

The embattled legendary podcaster Joe Rogan defended his right to speak his mind on his podcast. Rogan, host of The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, slammed recent Cancel Culture witch hunts against his show: “This is a political hit-job, and so they're taking all this stuff that I've ever said that's wrong and smushed it all together,” he declared in a Feb. 8 podcast episode.

The Anti-Defamation League, which has lobbied and advised Big Tech to censor speech, altered its definition of racism following The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg’s outrageous Holocaust remarks.

Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) torched the news media for being a “source of misinformation” as senators discussed a proposal to allow news outlets to coordinate ad negotiations with Big Tech. MRC Vice President of Free Speech America and Business Dan Gainor also slammed the proposed law during the congressional hearing on the future of journalism.
