Along with New York Times editorial board member Mara Gay’s non-sense early Wednesday hours after the State of the Union, actor and comedian Sinbad joined MSNBC’s late-night coverage and slammed President Trump as a “fool” who “doesn’t feel anything” and carried out an “atrocious” government shutdown. He also added that he should have been given “a pimp slap” by Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

While more tamed than NBC’s trainwreck State of the Union coverage, there was still moments of liberal bias Tuesday night on ABC’s coverage that knocked the speech being delivered by a President with “real tension” and praised the Democratic response by Stacey Abrams as having “vivid language and energetic delivery.”

As President Trump entered the House chamber on Tuesday night for the 2019 State of the Union, ABC and NBC were more than a little giddy at the notion that Democrats didn’t line the aisle to greet the President and even refused to applaud the President as he made his way to the podium in front of Vice President Pence and Speaker Pelosi.

In just 35 days, the partial government shutdown generated nearly five hours of coverage on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts. By a six-to-one margin, network reporters framed the shutdown as the fault of President Trump, not the Democrats. Out of 297 minutes of total shutdown coverage, just 27% was devoted to the debate over the border wall — far less time than was given to TSA workers…
