NYT's Rogers Mocks Trump Hotel, Eating Habits of Family, on Page One

August 26th, 2017 4:42 PM
New York Times reporter Katie Rogers is a kind of pop-social reporter in D.C. in the Trump era, and has little love for the people she covers. Rogers made the front page of Saturday’s edition with some snarky that seems a few months past its sell-by date: “Trump Hotel by Night: Lobbyists, $60 Steaks.” One would think sophisticated big-city Times editors would know $60 isn’t really all that much…

August 26th, 2017 11:55 AM
Support mental health or I'll kill you! New Yorker magazine seems to have this deep psychological need for President Donald Trump to be officially called crazy by psychiatrists. That need is so urgent that their August 23 article by Jeannie Suk Gersen on this subject almost exactly echoes their May 22 story by Jane Mayer on the same topic.

Titled “Land of the Free,” the episode pitted the self-righteous doctors against mean-spirited federal employees doing their job.

Salon: 'Most Media' Are 'More Than Fair' to Conservatives

August 25th, 2017 5:08 PM
Writer Eric Alterman presents the relationship between President Trump and journalists as if it were a plot from a horror movie, and the audience knows what’s going to happen before the victim does. Donald Trump's Problematic Device

August 24th, 2017 9:16 PM
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is in trouble again with his Moral Superiors. His problem, of course, is that he cannot throttle his B.S. Detector. It seems he acquired a B.S. Detector at some point in life that has usually served him well. It certainly did during his long years in business, and it has during his brief time in politics. Now, however, it is problematic.

This week journalists and networks have been in a tizzy after Trump railed against them during rallies in Arizona this week. But conservative Matt Schlapp tried to break through all the hoopla during…
