In an uncharacteristically honest segment on CNN’s New Day, anchor John Berman was forced to cover President Biden’s crumbling poll numbers on the economy and inflation.

With 2021 quickly drawing to a close, and Americans beginning to travel for the holidays and tuning out the news, CBS decided tonight was their last chance to spin for the Biden Administration before the new year. Approximately nine minutes into their broadcast, CBS Evening News was quick to report on the fact that U.S. consumer confidence rose to its highest levels since July. 

CNN has gone above and beyond the call of propaganda to spin economic coverage to benefit President Joe Biden’s White House. A new poll it released shows that effort has floundered.

President Joe Biden’s disastrous economic agenda has set the U.S. economy on a collision course, so what does CNN do? The network pinned blame on older Americans. CNN released a ridiculous story headlined, “The data that shows Boomers are to blame for the labor shortage.”

Bloomberg News co-founder Matthew Winkler had arguably one of the most ridiculous takes on President Joe Biden’s performance on the economy yet. Winkler wrote a Dec. 20 op-ed with an outrageous headline, “Biden's Economic Performance Has Proved Unbeatable.”

Billionaire Elon Musk has made a name for himself recently by mocking the left’s nonsensical multitrillion-dollar economic agenda. Two major media personalities have said he’s a good fit to replace Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.

A tectonic shift in the world of economics has taken place: New York Times economist Paul Krugman finally admitted that his detractors on inflation were right all along. The leftist economist surprisingly conceded in a new op-ed that others have warned “that we may face something comparable to the stagflation of the 1970s. And credit where credit is due.”

You know Joe Biden’s approval ratings are bad when even leftist media outlets like CNN are talking about it. Eventually, the news gets bad enough and becomes so blatantly obvious that the media is guilted into reporting on stories that they would otherwise sweep under the rug.

The core indexes for U.S. inflation just continue to soar to the moon, while the media behave like apostles for President Joe Biden’s leftist economic agenda and spin bad news in his favor.

Following the Dec. 6 CNN report exposing President Joe Biden for trying to influence media to spin economic coverage to his favor, many have followed his demands and twisted the news of rising inflation.

CNN can’t help itself. The network actually spun news of Americans seeing the highest inflation in nearly 40 years as positive news in an attempt to benefit President Joe Biden.

Remember when NBC News senior business correspondent Stephanie Ruhle tried to claim Americans could afford inflation and were just bellyaching? Well, her company’s sister network doesn’t appear to agree.

The New York Times had an unusual red pill moment and actually threw cold water on the hype behind President Joe Biden’s huge $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill signed into law earlier this month.
