The ultimate First World problem. Justin Sullivan, who currently stars on Broadway, has declined eligibility for a Tony award over the categories being only “male or female.” Sullivan’s “non-binary” status left him conflicted as to which category to compete in as he identifies as neither male nor female.

We’ve come a long way from the days of classic sitcoms where conundrums consisted of Lucy drinking too much Vitameatavegamin in I Love Lucy or Peter being afraid to defend his little sister Cindy from a bully on The Brady Bunch.
