Nets: Ramping Up Oil Production Will ‘Take Time’ (Go Electric Instead)
Well, now they tell you. The network morning shows on Monday all admitted that ramping up oil production in the wake of the war in Ukraine will “take some time.” There was no mention of the Biden administration’s war on energy independence. And NBC’s Today mentioned buying an electric car instead to save money on gas.
$4 Per Gallon Gas Price Spike Makes CNN Coverage Look Ridiculous

A Look at Biden’s Unspectacular Address
When a president’s poll numbers are tanking, as the most recent Washington Post/ABC News poll shows they are for President Biden — 37 percent approval — he needed to do something spectacular, even radical, to keep him from sinking further. Unfortunately for Biden and his party, he did nothing that is likely to stem his free fall. Washington Post columnist Henry Olson said…
Broken Clock: CNN's Zakaria Urges Biden to Ramp Up US Oil Production
On CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS, anchor Fareed Zakaria finally realized what a difficult situation the United States is in by not being energy independent and reliant on Russia for oil. Knowing that ceasing the purchase of oil from Russia will only drive up gas prices further, Zakaria on Sunday urged President Joe Biden to ramp up U.S. oil production.
The View Finds Putin ‘Smart’ and We Need More Domestic Oil Production
There was a serious case of whiplash during ABC’s The View on Friday as co-host Sunny Hostin called Russian dictator Vladimir Putin “smart” for attacking the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, an accolade that was deemed a treasonous act earlier in the week after former President Trump said something similar. If things didn’t seem out of place with that, Hostin also called for an…

With gas prices continuing to rise amid the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, NBC Nightly News committed a random act of journalism by calling out the reality that the Biden administration’s energy policies are doing nothing to give consumers some economic relief at the gas pump. Reacting Wednesday to President Biden’s State of the Union address from the night prior, the broadcast network mornings newscasts on ABC, CBS, and NBC largely decided to play White House stenographers in touting Biden’s “call[s] for unity” and focus “on common ground and not...partisanship.” It resulted, one network said, in cheers that were akin to American unity after 9/11.
