The incoming extra-plush treatment of Joe Biden by the “independent fact checkers” might be signaled by this Friday fact check at Snopes.com: "Will Biden’s Dog Get an ‘Indoguration’ Party? Major Biden’s former shelter is celebrating the "first dog" with a virtual party." Fact check: True! 

Once again, one of Facebook’s fact-checkers has failed to acknowledge the facts — this time surrounding the origins of COVID-19. Now, even a leftist source has begun to concede that COVID-19 may have originated in a lab in Wuhan, China. Contributor to New York Magazine’s “Intelligencer” Nicholson Baker questioned whether the virus was released either on accident or on purpose. 

So-called “fact”-checking websites often jump at any chance they get to attempt to prove President Donald Trump wrong. But they aren’t so eager to fact-check themselves.

Reuters fact-checked a Nov. 19 tweet from President Donald Trump but has not corrected, or even addressed, the inaccuracies in its own article.

Facebook has said that its fact-checkers are selected and certified through a so-called “non-partisan” organization. That’s not true. It was recently revealed that a prominent staffer is openly biased and supports former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Facebook fact-checker PolitiFact produced eight fact-checks that either used or relied on World Health Organization (WHO) numbers that have proven to be untrue. A new report from CNN shows that communist China was lying about how many of its citizens had contracted COVID-19 and how many deaths resulted from it.

A fact-checking website may not even be able to properly check the facts in its own articles when the facts don’t line up with its narrative. FactCheck.org, which  partners with Facebook to fact-check articles and social media posts, has not corrected a January article that provides incorrect information regarding the number of COVID-19 cases and deaths in China. 

Facebook’s latest faulty “fact check” shows how little regard the company has for facts or experts. Facebook added a USA Today “fact check” to a post of a Just Facts study that investigated non-citizens voting in battleground states. Bryan White at the website PolitiFact Bias points out that the "fact checkers" are tilting in favor of both Democrats running for the U.S. Senate in runoffs. On Tuesday, the “fact checkers” at Snopes ardently defended Gov. Andrew Cuomo by attacking an accurate tweet as "Mostly False." The headline was: "Did Gov. Cuomo Say It Was ‘Bad News’ Pfizer Vaccine Progress Came Under Trump?" The correct answer is Yes.

New member of the Daily Wire, Candace Owens, announced that she has filed a lawsuit against Facebook fact-checkers Lead Stories and USA Today for censoring American’s free speech. Owens has hinted at the possibility of a lawsuit ever since her opinions began getting fact-checked, which led to her Facebook page being demonetized in August.

With a week to go before Election Day, the New York Times is playing aggressive defense for the Democrats, suggesting any mention of socialism is a dangerous lie while dismissing predictions and rhetoric by President Trump as “lies.” Democrats are being responsible and issue-oriented (and praised even when attacking their party leadership), while the GOP is fear-mongering.

Because they are not "fact checkers" as much as "context checkers," and they don't like Democrats being taken out of context. Even the abortion-worshipping mainstream media isn’t so delusional as to think that the Biden-Harris presidential ticket’s stance on abortion is a good look for your average American voter.
