Presidential historian, sometimes Biden speechwriter, and frequent MSNBC Jon Meacham joined The 11th Hour on Friday to recap what turned out to be a very eventful week. On the Saturday edition of Today on NBC, political contributor and PBS Washington Week host Yamiche Alcindor reacted to the news of Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court with excitement that Democratic activists will have another voice on the Court, but lamented that her ability to actually bring change is limited.

Naturally, the PBS NewsHour was delighted with President Biden's nomination of radical Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court on Friday night. CNN senior legal analyst Laura Coates joined CNN Newsroom on Friday to react to the official announcement of Ketanji Brown Jackson’s nomination to the Supreme Court. According to Coates, Jackson is almost a goddess-type figure who has descended from Mount Olympus and that she only hopes she will be afforded due process before the Senate.

On Friday’s CNN Newsroom, White House correspondent John Harwood said that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s opposition to President Biden’s nomination of Ketanji Brown to the Supreme Court Jackson on the grounds she is going to be a reliable liberal is not a substantive criticism.

The journalists at NBC and ABC on Friday set up a no-win scenario for the Republican response to Joe Biden’s Supreme Court choice Ketanji Brown Jackson. According to ABC, she is a “pragmatist” and “consensus builder.” How could anyone oppose someone like that?

The liberal media were all hands on deck Friday to defend President Biden’s new Super Court nominee, Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson from any criticism whatsoever.
