It was another day of faux somberness Wednesday afternoon on MSNBC as Congress impeached President Donald Trump a week after some of his own supporters terrorized the U.S. Capitol. MSNBC used this second Trump impeachment as a front in its ongoing campaign to relabel tens of millions who think and vote differently as domestic terrorists.

Wednesday afternoon during the second Trump impeachment vote, CNN’s The Lead and State of the Union co-host Jake Tapper lobbed a disgusting and vile attack on Republican Congressman Brian Mast (FL) for voting against impeachment, questioning whether the Army veteran and double-amputee is truly committed to upholding and defending the Constitution and American democracy.

The inexcusable rioting and looting in the halls and floors of the U.S. Congress this week has cast a shameful pall over the country. But the New York Times often went beyond justifiably calling out the rioters and those who egged them on. The paper overreached, making accusations of racial favoritism among police and alleging a double standard on riots, while ignoring liberal hypocrisy.
