On Wednesday, the “Big Three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC each covered on the flagship morning newscasts the results of Tuesday’s primaries in six states, focusing specifically on contests in Minnesota, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. This led to more labeling chicanery with 12 combined uses of “progressive” and “socialist” versus nine for “centrist,” “establishment,” or “moderate.”

Early on into Primary Night coverage a pair of former TV political reporters reminded us that the Elitist Media always has a stake in elections, even when they say otherwise. The Wisconsin primary proved to be too much for Chris Cillizza and Chuck Todd.

As is often the case, the Elitist Media hold stories about controversial Democrats close to the chest, either reporting at the last possible moment or not at all. Such is the case with the Wisconsin Democrat gubernatorial primary.

Politico "Playbook" reporter Irie Sentner labored mightily to help socialist candidate Francesca Hong prepare her appeal to a broader electorate after she wins the Democrat primary for governor of Wisconsin. Her "Cancel Thanksgiving" tweet is now being spun as a joke, and she loves Thanksgiving. 

Journalists are often firmer with Democrats before they win a primary election. Then, when facing off against a Republican in the general, they go soft on the Democrat and rough on the Republican. That's already happening in the Michigan Senate race with Abdul el-Sayed vs. Mike Rogers.
