MRC Spurs 25,000 Calls Demanding ABC Apology for Anti-Christian Slurs

As of Monday morning, the Media Research Center and its grassroots members made over 25,000 calls lambasting ABC and demanding a full apology for anti-Christian comments made by The View on February 13 that suggested Vice President Mike Pence’s “dangerous” Christian faith was a “mental illness.”

What a Lame Response: Behar Claims She Wasn't Smearing Christians

Thursday on ABC’s The View, the whole table addressed host Joy Behar’s mockery of Mike Pence’s Christian faith on Tuesday’s show that caused an uproar. Even though the rest of the table, with the exception of Meghan McCain and to some extent Whoopi Goldberg, also made vile comments, ABC only brought up Behar’s comments as controversial.

Media Research Center President Brent Bozell issued the following open letter today in response to ongoing hateful comments made by ABC hosts, including The View’s Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin. Hostin referred to Vice President Mike Pence’s Christian faith as “dangerous.” Behar equated it to a “mental illness.”

All three broadcast networks ignored a new Politico/Morning Consult poll, which showed President Trump’s approval rating is at its highest its been in the past ten months. The poll also showed Republicans ahead of Democrats on the congressional ballot, in anticipation of the 2018 midterm elections.

Monday on ABC’s The View, liberal hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sunny Hostin and Joy Behar called Vice President Mike Pence a hypocrite for sitting down while North Korean athletes marched into the stadium at the Olympic Games this weekend.
