Appearing exclusively on NBC’s Today show Wednesday morning, Time magazine editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal announced the liberal publication’s Person of the Year would be radical teenage climate crusader Greta Thunberg. The network hosts were predictably thrilled by the pick as they proclaimed that Thunberg “embodies student activism.”

After showing little journalistic interest in trying to find out the identity of the anonymous government whistleblower who sparked the impeachment inquiry against President Trump, on Monday, NBC’s Today show touted that the unknown bureaucrat was on the short list to be Time magazine’s Person of the Year. Half of the top ten list was comprised of prominent liberal figures.

Another multimillionaire lefty celebrity is pining for the death of capitalism and for some good old wealth redistribution. Avengers superstar Mark Ruffalo demanded an “economic revolution” on Twitter this past Sunday, claiming that “capitalism is killing us, and robbing from our children’s future.”  

Given how journalists openly despise Donald Trump, it may be hard to remember just how much they loved Democratic presidents. But don’t worry, we haven’t forgotten. The November 16, 1992 and the November 17, 2008 issues of Time magazine, respectively,  fantasized about having sex with Bill Clinton and comparing Barack Obama to Jesus. 

According to a page on Andrew Yang’s website, his liberal policies include providing Medicare for all, fighting climate change, providing a pathway to citizenship for “undocumented immigrants” and supporting LGBTQ+ rights. Despite that, Time magazine on Tuesday failed to label him a “liberal.”
