Ben Shapiro Column: The Woke Lose

November 5th, 2020 2:09 AM

On Tuesday night, the American people spoke. They spoke with millions upon millions of voices to produce the greatest presidential election voter turnout in over a century. And they sent a variety of messages, most of them quite positive. Voters rejected the prevailing narratives of a media determined to make the election a pure referendum on Donald Trump's character.

NYT Deletes Tweet that the ‘News Media’ Will Declare Election Winner

November 3rd, 2020 8:19 PM

The New York Times, like many users on Twitter  in 2020, may believe itself to be above the U.S. government.

The news outlet recanted an earlier tweet which stated “the role of declaring a winner of the presidential election falls to the news media. The broadcast networks and cable news outlets have vowed to be prudent. Here’s how it will work.”

NY Times Columnists Suffer Psychotic Breakdown as Election Day Arrives

November 3rd, 2020 7:00 PM

The pre-election edition of the New York Times Sunday Review was a peculiar 14-page beast featuring all 15 of the paper’s columnists weighing in on Trump under the rubric “What Have We Lost.” In the Times' case, news judgement and emotional maturity would top the list. Former White House correspondent turned whiny liberal columnist Frank Bruni, who is a grown adult male of 56…

NY Times: Trump Eroding Democracy While Biden Shows True Manhood

November 3rd, 2020 6:43 PM

Jessica Bennett, the New York Times’ first “gender editor,” filed some silly pre-election psychoanalysis for Monday’s edition: “Trump (Tough Guy), Biden (Nice Guy) and the Politics of Manliness.” Bennett opened with the textual equivalent of a campaign video for a former Democratic president that the media clearly misses: "The words were evocative, and not simply because Mr. Obama…

NYT Terrified of Trump Trucks, Clogged Traffic, Ignored Lefty Violence

November 3rd, 2020 1:36 PM

The New York Times reliably took the word of the Biden campaign that it felt threatened and had to cancel two rallies, when a group of truck-driving Trump fans in Texas surrounded a Biden-Harris campaign bus. It also freaked out over Trump fans slowing traffic over a bridge in New York. But the paper’s fear and loathing over political activists blocking traffic is selective. They didn…

Left Used to Warn Against Mailing Votes; Now Big Tech Protect It

October 30th, 2020 11:50 AM

Big Tech tyrants pretend that mail-in voting is safe, but the traditional media's past criticisms of mail-in voting have come back to bite them. The liberal media, Big Tech, and the political establishment have teamed up in an unholy alliance to silence conservatives’ concerns that mailing in votes could lead to voter fraud. President Donald Trump was fact-checked by Twitter for condemning “…

Who Are the NYT’s 1,104 ‘Senior’ Administration Officials?

October 30th, 2020 7:45 AM

We learned this week that the “senior administration official” who trashed President Trump in a 2018 op-ed under the name “Anonymous” was, in fact, fairly far removed from the center of power. So how often does the New York Times use those magic words to confer a sense of knowledge and authority on its otherwise anonymous sources who may hold a position few would consider “senior”?…

NY Times Dismisses GOP Painting 'Moderate Democrats' as 'Radicals'

October 28th, 2020 12:11 PM

With a week to go before Election Day, the New York Times is playing aggressive defense for the Democrats, suggesting any mention of socialism is a dangerous lie while dismissing predictions and rhetoric by President Trump as “lies.” Democrats are being responsible and issue-oriented (and praised even when attacking their party leadership), while the GOP is fear-mongering.
