Tell the Truth, Mr. President
When a politician promises to “tell the truth,” as President Biden did in his nationally televised address last Thursday, you can add that statement to familiar ones lacking the ring of sincerity. They include: “The gun isn't loaded;” “the microphone is off;” “if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor” and “I did not have sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.”
Don't Enjoy Anything: MSNBC Bemoans People Having Any Fun
On Sunday morning’s MSNBC Live, co-host Kendis Gibson brought on New York Times travel reporter Tariro Mzezewa to continue MSNBC’s ongoing efforts to fear monger about anything that brings people joy. Gibson proclaimed that “it’s absolutely wild” that people are having a good time on spring break and Mzezewa moaned that people “don’t care about the rules anymore.”
NY Times Concedes 'Boomtown Feel' in Florida, Despite 'Heavy Toll'
Hesitantly and petulantly, the New York Times is conceding Florida may have actually done something right in its handling of the coronavirus, balancing health and life issues. Patricia Mazzei, the paper's Miami bureau chief, had a front-page slot on Sunday for “Focusing on the Bright Side in the Sunshine State.” The text box injected some caution: “Defying Virus, Florida Has Boomtown…
NYT Argues Sports are the Best Forums For Political Fights
The New York Times is simultaneously applauding the left-wing politicization of sports and calling conservatives the aggressors in the "Culture Wars." But being a progressive "journalist" means never having to make sense.
Laughable NYTimes Lead on Cuomo Asks: Are Dems Imposing 'Purity Test?'
New York Times’ political reporter Lisa Lerer shared the lead story slot with her take on the Democratic Party’s Andrew Cuomo problem, as allegations made against New York’s Democratic governor deepen in seriousness. Apparently, the party’s moral standards are just too high to compete with those sleazy Republicans. It's a fairy story the Times loves to tell. A few prominent…
Oh Please: NYT Shows Chauvinism for NYC, Demands COVID Deserters Pay
Documenting the grim anniversary of the coronavirus-spurred lockdowns with an Opinion series entitled “The Week Our Reality Broke,” The New York Times's usual liberal obsessions of inequality were livened up by a disturbing diatribe that proposed a resettlement tax on New Yorkers who escaped the failing Democratic city during the pandemic.
EXCLUSIVE: Economist SHREDS Idea Democrats Are Better for Economy
An economist ripped the media for pushing the false idea that Democratic administrations are better for the U.S. economy than GOP administrations. New York Times senior writer David Leonhardt had written that Democratic administrations have been more “pragmatic” by being “willing to heed economic and historical lessons about what policies actually strengthen the economy, while…
Tucker Blasts NYTs for Claim He Harassed Reporter, They Harassed Him
What started out as a small section of a larger segment about elites claiming they were somehow oppressed during Tuesday’s Tucker Carlson Tonight, blew up Wednesday after the New York Times and social media reporter Taylor Lorenz claimed the Fox News host directed online harassment at her. But during his show later that night, Carlson shot back at the newspaper for absurdly…
NYT’s Deceptive Snitch Reporter Cries Harassment ‘Destroyed My Life'
New York Times technology reporter, self-appointed social media hall monitor, and general hypocrite Taylor Lorenz embarrassed herself once again on Twitter, showing she’s learned nothing from her recent Twitter catastrophes. Lorenz displayed a ridiculous martyr complex in a tweet on International Woman’s Day on Tuesday, making herself out to be a victim, from her lofty Times…
NYT Loved McCain’s ObamCare Thumbs-Down, Hated Gesture by Sinema
Like the late Arizona Senator John McCain (R), Arizona Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema is seen as a centrist “maverick.” Yet Sinema’s recent, dramatic thumbs-down voting gesture on the minimum wage was excoriated by The New York Times, not celebrated the way McCain’s similar thumbs-down “no” vote helped preserve ObamaCare in 2017. The Times painted the…
NY Times Talks to Sen. Hawley’s ‘Aghast’ PROM DATE in Long Hit Piece
Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri courted controversy when he led the charge challenging Joe Biden’s election victory. But not content to criticize Hawley’s allegations, the New York Times fished for quotes from Hawley’s high school prom date and his middle school principal, piling on insults to its 5,000-word hit piece. The sewer dive by reporters Elaina Plott and Danny Hakim…
NYTimes Rips GOP Opposing Enormous Spending, 'Biden’s Good Intentions'
The front page of Sunday’s New York Times celebrated the U.S. Senate’s narrow, party-line approval of President Biden’s $1.9 trillion dollar economic relief package, congressional correspondent Carl Hulse’s “news analysis” still faulted the Republican Party for failing to abide by Biden’s “good intentions” in "Win Shows Quest To Cooperate Is All But Lost.” It’s Hulse’s latest “…
NYT Attempts Balance, Fails: Hispanic GOP Stoked on BLM 'Conspiracy'
In some ways, the front-page story of Saturday’s New York Times by Jennifer Medina offered welcome balance: “As Latino Men Tilt to Right, Democrats Ask Why.” But one paragraph from Medina is attracting much derisory attention on social media.
