ESPN reported a blockbuster story Thursday revealing how the NBA’s troubling entanglements with communist China have serious implications for U.S. interests. 

NFL quarterback wannabe Colin Kaepernick says he is willing to accept a backup role with a team, and his remarks infuriated a long-time supporter. ESPN First Take host Stephen A. Smith said Tuesday that America owes Kaepernick an NFL job because he kneeled for national anthems “on behalf of us,” but he also accused the football pariah of not being sincere about wanting to play again. 

Jackie Robinson broke the MLB color barrier in 1946 and there has been no institutional impediment to African Americans playing in the big leagues ever since. But as always, there are still plenty of people that think there's more to be done in the name of "inclusivity."

The Blaze Fearless podcast commentator Jason Whitlock on Monday accused the Disney empire of expanding its so-called “magic queendom” to re-make ESPN and sports. A former employee of ESPN himself, Whitlock said it’s an attempt to ruin the worldwide leader in by converting it into a feminized and woke organization. 

There’s no longer any denying it: ESPN is the worldwide leader in creating its own news. The most recent example is the new report that network MMA analyst Chael Sonnen has been charged with 11 counts of battery for attacking six people, including a woman.

Disney has been such a malign cultural force for so long that it’s hard not to feel that the craven crap weasels in the C Suite are getting a well-deserved comeuppance. 

ESPN’s weekend broadcasts of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament were marred by triggered announcers’ inaccurate portrayal of the Florida bill aimed at protecting students from sexual indoctrination. This is the bill that lying lefties are calling the “don’t say gay bill.” 

Former ESPN TV and radio personality Bomani Jones continues to fail upwards as his move from ESPN to HBO indicates. Nobody watches Jones, nobody listens to the radical leftist, and his terrible ratings bear that out. No matter what network he’s on or what time slot he’s in, Jones is a bona fide audience killer.

ESPN’s “Woke” Center really stepped into some deep muck again this week. Showing its true cop-hating colors, it tweeted the message that athletes should be as fearless as a highly controversial character on the HBO “Euphoria” program. That character is a 13-year-old boy who is not only a drug dealer, but also one who has killed two public safety officers. 

Have you noticed how race-obsessed ESPN is? Project Veritas has, and it released video Tuesday evening that portrays the sports network as a “toxic, racist workplace environment.” ESPN studio operator Trevor Adams produced undercover interviews demonstrating the problematic workplace environment as viewed by current employees.

On Saturday, National Review News Writer Caroline Downey reported on how “ESPN featured a sports pundit Friday who said it’s hypocritical for Americans to be preoccupied with China’s egregious human rights violations in the context of the Beijing Olympic Games given Republican ‘assaults on voting rights’ and racial injustices in the United States.”
