It’s like some of this is fun and games for the press. On Tuesday night, the “big three” broadcast networks used their flagship evening newscasts to erect walls between President Donald Trump and his Coronovirus Task Force, falsely treating the President’s “hope” to reopen the economy by Easter (April 12) as a red line. In other words, it was an attempt to sow dissent and further scare Americans.

CBS This Morning on Tuesday mostly ignored the findings of its own poll on the coronavirus and the government’s handling of it. The network allowed a scant 10 seconds to the news that a majority, 53 percent, approve of the President’s response. Relegated to online is the news that more Americans trust Donald Trump to given information than the media itself.

On Thursday, the NBC and CBS morning shows kept pushing the narrative that President Trump’s use of the phrase “Chinese virus” was “racist” and endangering people. NBC even attempted to claim that China “helped” the rest of the world by “delaying” the spread of coronavirus.

Talk about tone deaf. CBS This Morning on Thursday attempted to report the upside to a global pandemic that is killing thousands. Stephen Colbert decided to continue producing a stripped down form of his late night comedy show in the midst of the coronavirus quarantine, though it wasn’t just the production quality that appeared to be suffering, but the material itself. Maybe that’s just because we’re tired of lame jokes from the bottom of the far left political barrel.
