Nets Celebrate Jill Biden at DNC, Cover-Up New Cheating Scandal

August 18th, 2020 8:56 PM

On the day Jill Biden was set to take the stage at the virtual Democratic National Convention, an exclusive from the U.K.'s Daily Mail documented allegations from her first husband, Bill Stevenson, who claims their marriage was destroyed because she cheated on him with then-Senator Joe Biden (D-DE). Despite the allegations being fresh news, the Tuesday evening newscasts of ABC, CBS, and NBC covered them up to protect their candidate and boost Jill’s forthcoming speech.

The networks also gushed about former President Bill Clinton, who was also set to address the convention. But he too was facing scandal as new images of him getting a massage from one of pedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s victims also surfaced earlier in the day.

“Tonight, Joe Biden's closest confidant takes center stage. Dr. Jill Biden, his wife of over 43 years will speak from the Wilmington school where she once taught English,” boasted White House correspondent Kristen Welker on NBC Nightly News.

She further boasted: “In excerpts just released, Dr. Biden will speak in deeply personal terms saying – ‘there are times when I couldn't imagine how he did it, how he put one foot in front of the other and kept going. But I've always understood why he did it. He does it for you.’ Dr. Biden has long been one of her husband's fiercest defenders. She memorably shielded him from a protester who rushed the stage on Super Tuesday.”

But according to the Daily Mail report, “Joe Biden and his wife Jill have lied to the world for more than 40 years about how they started dating — they actually had an affair that broke up her first marriage, her first husband claims. And the whole story the Bidens tell about how the presidential candidate fell in love with Jill after a blind date is completely made up.”

Despite the damaging allegations, the gushing for Jill didn’t stop on ABC’s World News Tonight. “Tonight, the case for trusting Biden will be made by the woman who knows him best, his wife Jill Biden. She will be giving her speech tonight from the Delaware high school where she used to teach English,” fawned congressional correspondent Mary Bruce.

The accusations also didn’t interest Biden defender and CBS political correspondent Ed O’Keefe. On CBS Evening News, O’Keefe simply noted: “Tonight, Democrats formally nominate Biden and running mate Kamala Harris, with Biden's wife, Jill, as the evening's headliner.”

O’Keefe actually spent more time hyping what could be expected from Clinton’s speech:

So, like he does almost every four years, Bill Clinton is going to deliver a kind of "It's the economy stupid”-style speech tonight to buck up Biden. Clinton aides sat he is incensed by deaths of so many Americans at the hands of this pandemic, and he’ll say, in part, quote, “at a time like this the Oval Office should be a command center. Instead, it's a storm center.”

But Clinton too was caught in another fresh scandal. And again, the Daily Mail were the ones to expose it to the world; pictures of Clinton receiving a massage from one of Epstein’s victims.

Bill Clinton grins with pleasure as he enjoys an intimate neck massage with a young Jeffrey Epstein victim in never-before-seen photographs obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com,” the paper wrote. “The troubling pictures are an ill-timed reminder of Clinton's links to Epstein as the former President, 72, prepares to endorse Joe Biden tonight at the Democratic Convention.”

The Daily Mail also recalled how “Clinton traveled numerous times on the dead pedophile’s private Jet, the Lolita Express, socialized with his alleged Madame, Ghislaine Maxwell, and faced a slew of sexual misconduct accusations himself during his years in public life.”

None of these new scandals were of any interest to the broadcast networks, whose mission it was to defend their 2020 candidate at all costs.

The cover-up of these damaging scandals was possible because of lucrative sponsorships from HomeAdviser on ABC, Amazon on CBS, and Consumer Cellular on NBC. Their contact information is linked if you want to tell them about what they’re funding. CBS Evening News has also asked people to text anchor Norah O’Donnell at this number: (202) 217-1107.
