The journalists at CBS This Morning are not, generally speaking, tough on Democrats, especially the 2020 presidential candidates. When they offer tough questions, it’s often from the left. That’s why it was so surprising on Tuesday to see the show’s co-hosts grill Kamala Harris about the costs of her policy proposals and even the concept of federalism. 

After melting down Monday, View co-hosts Joy Behar and Sunny Hostin were still refusing to admit that Mueller found no collusion, on Tuesday’s show. A shell shocked Behar expressed confusion that the findings didn’t turn out how she had hoped, while Hostin moved the goalposts, arguing that Trump was an illegitimate president even if he wasn’t guilty of collusion.

Journalists lecture that Trump never admits he’s wrong, but when you’re invested in the Trump-the-traitor conspiracy theory, you cannot admit they overreached. Take Washington Post media columnist Margaret Sullivan, who refused to budge on the media’s partisan aggression. The online headline was "Serious journalists should be proud of — not bullied over — their Russia reporting." 

In the wake of the terrible terror attack in New Zealand that left several dead, tech companies are looking at censoring more content as a response. Microsoft President Brad Smith wrote a blog post on March 24 that called for a stronger approach to how tech companies deal with content they disagreed with on their platforms.
