Reporting from Iowa on Monday, ahead of the Democratic Caucus, CBS This Morning co-host Tony Dokoupil received praise from left-wing Senator Elizabeth Warren for his recent effort to sell socialism. The 2020 Democratic contender cheered a segment aired on Friday that featured Dokoupil using pies to convince unwitting mall patrons to support wealth redistribution.

In an effort to aid Democrats in prolonging the Senate impeachment trial, on Monday, all three networks seized on a supposed “bombshell” – though unverified – claim in former National Security Advisor John Bolton’s upcoming memoir. All the sensational coverage clearly designed to turn up the pressure on Republican senators to call witnesses.

The new talking point for liberals in the media is that Senate Republicans just aren’t paying attention to the brilliance of the House impeachment managers. Appearing on Friday’s CBS This Morning, legal analyst and constitutional law scholar Jonathan Turley completely shattered the hopes of Democrats and the liberal media that President Trump would be successfully impeached and removed from office. During both their morning and evening newscasts on Monday, CBS News and NBC News touted crowds that shared their sentiment.

During a panel discussion about the 2020 campaign on Tuesday’s CBS This Morning, hosts and political analysts agreed that Hunter Biden’s interview with ABC News wasn’t doing his father’s presidential candidacy any favors and might even give President Trump more ammunition against Joe Biden.
