It was that transfer of documents that had the broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) all giddy with anticipation during their Wednesday evening newscasts.

No, this is not a joke or an attempt at rick-rolling. The Monday morning broadcast network newscasts actually put away their usual gun control talking points after a mass shooting and emphasized how armed citizens prevented a deadly scene from becoming worse.
