Apparently, cynicism is warranted for congressional leaders. Well, some of the time anyway. Nancy Pelosi fan Andrea Mitchell on Tuesday scoffed and laughed at Kevin McCarthy as the House Minority Leader suggested that Pelosi’s delaying of impeachment articles is nothing more than a transparent attempt at helping Joe Biden. 

Appearing on CBS’s Late Show Monday night, aired early Tuesday morning, MSNBC’s Morning Joe co-hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski joined liberal comedian Stephen Colbert in predictably trashing President Trump on everything from impeachment to Iran. The trio were “hopeful” Trump will “pay for all the lies.”

For two days in a row, The View has given Democrats in Congress a platform to bash President Trump over Iran and impeachment. Monday, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff was the satellite guest and today it was Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s turn to take softball questions from the liberal hosts.

On her last week on the show, The View co-host Abby Huntsman held Democrat Adam Schiff’s feet to the fire over which impeachment witnesses were allowed to testify, asking him repeatedly to explain why Joe Biden and his son couldn’t be subpoenaed. Her co-host Meghan McCain also pressed the Democrat to admit that this impeachment process was going to damage his party with the American public.

In the first 100 days since House Democrats began their impeachment push, ABC, CBS and NBC have aggressively aided the effort. An MRC analysis finds the Big Three evening newscasts battered the President with 93% negative coverage and promoted impeachment at the expense of nearly all other Trump news.
