In almost identical fashion to their hysteria concerning the defeat of transgender bathroom bill in Houston from November, Thursday’s CBS Evening News painted quite the doomsday scenario for Georgia and North Carolina over their respective religious freedom bills as the newscast argued they could lead to massive boycotts and the loss of billions of dollars in business.

In the latest breaking Obamacare news, Amanda Terkel of The Huffington Post tweeted that Marcelas Owens, “The cute little kid who stood next to Obama for signing of ACA now is 17, identifies as transgender.” CNN.com’s John Blake brought the usual political correctness to the task. Washington City Paper reports with cheerleading that the pop-punk band PWR BTTM (don’t google power bottom) is using its “unmistakable charisma and candor” (captured in part by NPR promotion) to impose on concert venues a “gender-neutral” restroom policy.

The term “sex offender” screams media-bait – except if he happens to back a transgender bill that could result in men entering women’s bathrooms. That wouldn't bode so well for the liberal media's agenda.
One major N.C. newspaper mentioned his conviction only after he resigned as an LGBT leader – and after a conservative organization repeatedly contacted the outlet for more than a month.
