Global Warming

New York magazine published an article dripping with condescension on how to psychologically fool conservatives into becoming believers in global warming. Its all a matter of using the correct "framing interventions" which, if done correctly, might perform the trick.

A symposium addressing the question “Where Is Liberalism Going?” produced what several online pundits considered nutty and ignorant ideas about topics including sex and the supposedly growing authoritarian tendencies of the left.

An adamant Charlie Rose, on Thursday night, was astounded that there could be any opposition to the fight against climate change as he blurted: “Where is the resistance?! What stands in the way of something that clearly threatens the planet?”

It looks like a crazy prediction from a sanity challenged blog such as the Democratic Underground or the Daily Kos. Instead it is the New York Times embracing their inner moonbat with an article predicting that "Alaska is going to be the next Florida by the end of the century. Of course no data backing up the wild assertion is provided.  

Author and columnist Naomi Klein is still having trouble getting her facts straight. This time, in an interview with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” she tried to argue China is not a communist country, even though it is run by the Communist Party of China. The Huffington Post Religion page devotes itself to the worship of the Global Warming cult with seven stories on that topic. To emphasize the point, the page features a picture of a Green Jesus at the top.
