Hulu's Four Weddings and a Funeral tv adaptation is...odd. Co-created by Richard Curtis, who created the original movie, and Mindy Kaling (The Mindy Project), I had high hopes that this team could deliver a heartfelt, funny comedy that either left out the politics or was somewhat balanced. Instead, Republicans and conservatives are overtly insulted and mocked.

In a shameful display Monday night, CNN host Don Lemon viciously attacked his guest, Pastor Bill Owens, for daring to meet with President Trump. Lemon progressively got nastier with his antagonistic questioning when Owens wouldn’t call the President, racist. Lemon even went so far as to attack the pastor’s Christian faith and character.

Amazon Prime’s latest series The Boys is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Garth Ennis, the same writer behind Preacher. The show is also produced by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogan, who helped to develop the Preacher television series. So is it safe to say that The Boys is just as raunchy, gory, and sacrilegiously irreverent as Preacher? Sadly, it may be much worse.

Given The Huff Post’s lefty bent, you would expect the article to be derisive of young conservative women who choose a religious life. On Morning Joe Wednesday, holier-than-thou co-host Joe Scarborough lectured white evangelicals who supported Trump as disobeying Jesus Christ’s commands to feed the hungry and take care of the poor.
