The Players Tribune is an athletes blog founded by Derek Jeter, and right now it is white hot with anger over the George Floyd murder. The most inflammatory diatribe among several current athlete posts was from Natasha Cloud, a guard for the WNBA's Washington Mystics. In her post, she seeted over America's so-called history of oppressing, Republican racists and additional injustices.

Listen up, Hollywood! The Washington Post’s Alyssa Rosenberg has a terrific idea for you: she wants you to “immediately halt production on cop shows and movies and rethink the stories [you tell] about policing in America.”

Well, Drew Brees has apologized for having his own opinions. It was to be expected. But at least one prominent African-American sports figure doesn’t want the Saints QB cast into the outer darkness.

USA Today sports writers/social justice warriors live for days like Wednesday. With multiple stories dedicated to social justice, Colin Kaepernick, racist team nicknames, anti-police hit pieces and the like, this left-stream publication's sports page is nothing more than a politicized, left-wing gripe publication.

Former Good Morning America host and Disney Channel star Keke Palmer is being praised for video of her getting National Guardsmen to take a knee against police brutality. Though her colleagues must be so proud of her for getting these Army guys to genuflect, they edited out part of Palmer’s message that included a rant about Trump and his supporters starting a “race war.”

The latest political initiative from Hollywood might be its most insane yet. Here’s the proposal from some of tinseltown’s brightest: How about we as a society decide to defund our police forces? 

Volatile San Antonio Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich unleashed a torrent of hatred for President Donald Trump during a Sunday night phone call to Dave Zirin, sports editor and resident communist for The Nation magazine. The Washington Post, Yahoo! Sports and Boston Globe, among others, jumped all over this golden opportunity to join in the roasting of the president.

The progressive media attack on African American athletes who refuse to be Kaepernick-ized is definitely on! Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods are commonly in the line of fire by sports media who insist athletes should make politics as normal as their training regimens. Over the past week, George Floyd’s violent and tragic death has been well documented. Additionally, the tragic turmoil at the hands of violent rioters has also been at the forefront of the news.

Though multiple cities are burning from riots incited by leftist anarchists who have hijacked police brutality protests, Hollywood lefties can’t fathom that President Trump resolved to protect his own country.

It’s not surprising that the president’s invocation of God during violent protests in D.C. on June 1 didn’t fly with the Hollywood left. The Christian faith is an obvious impediment to their progressive ambitions.Trump’s walk to St. John’s Church and subsequent raising of the Bible amid nationwide riots as leftists raged near the White House, seemed to really get under famous lefties’ skins.…

It’s usually easy to discount celebrities’ and sports stars' takes on current events. Most are reflexively lefty or uninformed. (Or both. There is some correlation there.) But once in a great while, someone famous says something thoughtful.

The Hollywood left is so serious about protesting police that some of them are putting their bodies on the line to do so. 

On May 29, Hulu premiered its second season of Ramy, a show about a Muslim-American man living in New Jersey. While the first season tried to showcase the complexities of an Egyptian-American immigrant family, the second season went full raging leftist, calling the U.S. army “the world’s most corrupt army” and the United States a “country that enslaves people in jails and puts them in cages.”…
