Showtime’s The L Word: Generation Q is a weekly left-wing propaganda lecture with nudity thrown-in. It is the sort of show Shonda Rhimes would create if she did not have the restrictions of network television. This week, just in time for Christmas, the show threw in dialogue comparing a lesbian minister’s relationship with Jesus to an open sexual one.

The first two seasons of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel let issues of the 1960s speak for themselves. As a comedienne trying to be a working mother, and a Jewish woman at that, Miriam "Midge" Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan) experienced scorn, discrimination, and mockery. Turns out Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling might not be as progressive as she thought. Recently, the fantasy writer angered radical LGBTQ folks on social media for tweeting a defense of a person fired for believing that there are only two genders. The author has since been called a “transphobe,” or more specifically a “TERF” (trans exclusive radical feminist.)

Army cadets and Navy midshipmen were emboldened Saturday to display white power hand signs because President Donald Trump was present and wearing his MAGA hat at the football rivalry game in Philadelphia. The pro-LGBTQ media is now giving advice to the Hallmark Channel on how best to redress offending gays after the network reversed their decision to pull a lesbian ad last week. Of course it came as no surprise that entertainment outlet Indiewire insisted that Hallmark make a gay movie to prove where its loyalty really lies.

At this point, there really is only one major unresolved plot point remaining in the endless Star Wars saga: Where are the gay space aliens? Surely a story that spans galaxies and light years and campy dive cantinas must have run in to some, er, marginalized sexualities. USA’s The Purge clearly knows all about perverting American values, so it’s not a shock that it seems to revere liberal ones. In its season finale, the show attempts to co-opt the anti-Trump “Resistance” mantra as a noble cause against a fascist government.
