Amazing Stories is the latest classic series on the roster that’s gotten the modern reboot. Of course, that usually also means “modern” politics that ruin the point of the show in the first place. At this point, it would be more “amazing” to see a non-political reboot. Sadly, Apple TV+’s version of the 1985 anthology series falls victim to the same propaganda trap by delivering a gay love story.

HBO’s latest mini-series The Plot Against America has all the makings of an obvious liberal think piece. It follows an alternate history of America, has pointed commentary about politics, and debuted while Trump is still president. But how bad can it really get? Considering this also comes from the creator of The Deuce, all we can hope for is no boobs.

High Fidelity star Zoey Kravitz seems to have a pretty interesting sense of humor regarding the Coronavirus pandemic. The actress posted a joke photo of the virus to her Instagram account which had been altered to appear like it was made of red “MAGA” caps.  

When it comes to COVID-19 infections, Oklahoma is way down the list with just eight. But when Utah visited Oklahoma City recently for an NBA game, the game was cancelled and the NBA season suspended because the Jazz center Rudy Gobert had contracted the coronavirus. That led to the testing of 58 Utah players and employees ― and cries of wealth privilege" by the SB Nation sports blog.

No way! No one is over hyping this coronavirus, much less weaponizing the hysteria for political purposes. Famous Hollywood people may be tweeting that the solution to coronavirus is removing President trump from office, but hey, that’s just being pragmatic and somehow in line with proper disease prevention … right?  

Recently, a prominent married politician was found in a hotel room with a gay male escort. That politician was the Democratic star Andrew Gillum, who almost beat Ron DeSantis in Florida's 2018 gubernatorial race. But in the fevered mind of Hollywood writers, it can only be a hypocritical Christian conservative who has something to hide. 

It is nothing new for Fox’s The Simpsons to mock Christians, but it happened once again in the March 15 episode titled “Better Off Ned.” Bart Simpson found himself in trouble and facing suspension from school over a prank gone bad, so he used a fake hand grenade during a school performance to cause a commotion.

CW’s Supergirl has put political issues on the back burner this season, leaving room for the obnoxious Batwoman to swoop in instead. This week, however, we returned to our regularly scheduled politics with the usual awful results. Unfortunately, it was yet another propping up of the transgender community.

The latest episode of Diary of a Future President dives headfirst into LGBT propaganda by turning one of its main characters gay. I’m almost longing for old-fashioned climate change fear-mongering at this point.
