On April 30, liberal comedian Stephen Colbert took a momentary break from his constant slams on President Trump to focus on some other favorite targets of the CBS Late Show host: the National Rifle Association and the organization’s spokeswoman, Dana Loesch.

Stephen Colbert couldn’t resist. Former Vice President Joe Biden finally announced his 2020 presidential campaign last week. Biden joined a crush of fellow Democrats hoping to unseat President Donald Trump next year. Naturally, The Late Show host had to talk about it. And, given the program’s leftist slant, Colbert didn’t find much fault in Biden’s video announcement.

The Late Show host Stephen Colbert devoted his opening monologue Wednesday night to trashing Attorney General Bill Barr. Throughout the course of the monologue, Colbert referred to Barr as a “political call girl” and praised the Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee for their questioning of Barr earlier in the day.

Spoofing current events has long been a staple for late-night comedians, but The Late Show on CBS with liberal host Stephen Colbert uses "spoofing" to project all its hateful takes as "comedy." They took the practice to an extremely irritating level on Wednesday evening, predicting the Mueller report would be heavily redacted. That turned out to be....Fake News.
