A couple celebrities are trying to leverage their star power to get state governments to release prisoners due to the threat of coronavirus, arguing that it would somehow make New York communities “safer.”

Some say Kanye West doesn’t matter anymore, since finding Jesus and donning a MAGA hat. Yet there he is, on the cover of liberal men’s magazine GQ. Inside, West is saying he will be voting for Trump in November and calling out the media and Hollywood for trying to pressure African Americans to vote blue. Seems pretty consequential, doesn’t he?

It’s clear that Hollywood will never be a comfort to Americans during a crisis, especially with a conservative president in office. A full month into quarantine and lefty celebs’ most creative weapon against the pandemic and the rigors of social distancing is to continue screaming at the president in charge of leading us through the crisis.

Looks like TBS late night talk show host Conan O’Brien is fitting mockery of Jesus Christ and President Trump into the same joke and not everyone thinks it's hilarious. O’Brien, the decorated comedian and former Tonight Show host, decided a snarky tweet about the crucifixion and pandemic-fighting drugs praised by Trump officials was the best way to ring in the Easter holiday.

Prison Break and Deep Blue Sea actor Michael Rapaport really doesn’t like President Trump. Though characterizing the entertainer's feud with the man as a political disagreement doesn’t have the right connotation. From recent tweets, it appears quite personal for the famous redhead C-lister. He’s so antagonistic towards Trump that not even the president’s family can escape the scorn.

People need to urge director Spike Lee to “Do The Right Thing,” and shut up. Americans are trying to prioritize surviving a biblical plague and making sure society doesn’t collapse under the weight of an economic shutdown. So leave it to rich, pampered celebrities to remind us that boutique liberal causes need to remain at the forefront of the American to-do list.  

Again, not everyone in Hollywood thinks President Trump is doing a terrible job with coronavirus. Actor Dennis Quaid thinks the opposite even with alt-left, Trump-hating outlet The Daily Beast trying to sway him. You wouldn’t think to ever see a Hollywood message of support for President Trump on a network morning show, nor would you in your wildest dreams imagine that message of support coming from a big name Hollywood comedian. Though that’s what happened when Tracy Morgan made a happy and hope-filled appearance on NBC’s “Today.”

The man famous for playing NYC police officer Elliot Stabler has been lighting up social media with his insults towards the President, because of course it’s one of the few methods that help society through a time of crisis.

The World Health Organization and Global Citizen just announced a star-studded relief concert to provide some entertainment and express solidarity for folks suffering from coronavirus and the millions stuck in quarantine. Though some people, namely 63 million Trump supporters, might not feel the love from the festivities.
