Big Tech in recent years has consistently discriminated against conservatives and independent thinkers by censoring them online. This has affected everyone from the former president of the United States to everyday men and women.

All three broadcast networks in the fall of 2021 smeared border patrol agents as monsters who “whipped” illegal immigrants in “horrific,” “alarming” video. The footage showed a small number of agents on horseback trying to stop migrants from crossing the Rio Grande. 

The leftist newspaper owned by the second richest man in the world is obsessed with smearing his main competitor’s $43 billion Twitter takeover bid. It was willing to spend over 17,000 words to do it.

Twitter and Facebook worked in lockstep to restrict the flow of the Hunter Biden laptop story just before the 2020 presidential election. These platforms stifled the spread of that story at the same time that Big Media did, as MRC research found.

The Biden administration, desperate to hide the exploding crisis at the border, dumped the March crossing numbers late on Good Friday of Easter weekend. The dutiful drones on the network evening newscasts did their part in burying the bad news.

Johns Hopkins Professor of Surgery Marty Makary, M.D., M.P.H. said LinkedIn removed a research letter he co-authored because the scientific research allegedly violated its “Professional Community Policies.” He later tweeted that Linkedin reinstated it “after a friend compl[ained] to the CEO.”

Big Tech speech restrictions turned COVID-19 into the most pro-censorship environment in the U.S. at least since World War II. Media Research Center has found more than 800 examples of bans, deleted content, and other speech restrictions related to the virus, as well as to resultant vaccines masking and government policies.
