When Democratic Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, in a January 11 press conference, belittled the $1,000 bonus Walmart workers that were going to get (via the tax cut) as mere “crumbs”  CNN and MSNBC offered the elitist comment a mere 17 seconds in a week’s worth of coverage. 

Democrats have been slamming House Speaker Paul Ryan after he deleted a tweet touting an AP story, in which a school secretary explained that she got a nominal raise because of the GOP tax bill. Because the amount was so small, or “crumbs” as Nancy Pelosi would put it, Democrats bashed Ryan and Republicans for daring to celebrate Americans getting more money in their paychecks.  

Even before President Trump gave his first State of the Union, the Left was complaining that he was going to look “presidential.” They still can’t accept that he is president, and gets to give presidential speeches. But Trump took that opportunity and fully exploited it. The Democrats sitting in the chamber weren’t conceding a thing. Leaders Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer scowled throughout.
