There’s a well-understood comedy axiom that says if you have to explain why something is funny, then it isn’t, but NBC's Saturday Night Live fails to understand this because, in response to Donald Trump’s victory, the cast came together for a cringe-inducing performance where they pretended to support him in an attempt to stay off an enemies list. 

During its five shows during the fall presidential campaign from September 28 through November 2, a Media Research Center study found that NBC’s Saturday Night Live Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che told a total of 38 jokes about Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Of these, 34, or 89 percent, were about Trump.

During the most recent episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, new cast member Emil Wakim claimed that “the real American dream” is to be the non-white immigrant who eventually becomes a Republican and says to others, “No, sorry, sorry, white guys only.” Later in his address, Wakim would also attack critics of people like Gays for Gaza, telling them that “If you want them to be gay,…

We witnessed another mediocre edition of Saturday Night Live on NBC, but one snippet of the "Weekend Update" fake-news caught my attention. It came from fake anchor Michael Che, blink and you’ll miss it. He joked Biden supporters are "more likely to get their news from newspapers and mainstream media, while Trump supporters get their news from T-SHIRTS!"

MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell closed out her Tuesday show by deciding to pick a fight with math. We’ve watched the sketch series sugar coat the first nine months of Joe Biden’s administration, a stark contrast to how SNL treated the previous White House dweller. Not last weekend.

It’s bad enough that Saturday Night Live is unfunny liberal propaganda, but is the NBC show now engaging in anti-Semitic tropes? During the “Weekend Update” segment of Saturday’s episode, comedian Michael Che offered this “joke”: “Israel is reporting that they have vaccinated half their population. And I’m going to guess it’s the Jewish half.”

Their fake debate moderator also asked about Trump's health "out of a simmering rage for his incompetence and a sadistic hope that he is not well."

Due process has become a thing of the past in the minds of the liberal media. Fake news anchor Michael Che underlined this during the Weekend Update segment on the most recent episode of Saturday Night Live.

Cancel Culture types pack an emotional point when they call people out for telling the “wrong” jokes. Marginalized groups shouldn’t be the butt of gags. They’re already at a disadvantage in our culture, and being mocked can only make matters worse. Children like eco-activist Greta Thunberg and Parkland High School students deserve a measure of protection.
