Over the years, NewsBusters has extensively documented how the liberal broadcast networks had thrown their support behind terrorist groups that wanted to wipe Israel off the map. Well, they were back at it again Monday after Hamas had indiscriminately launched over 150 rockets at Israeli civilians and Israel justly responded by targeting their attacker. Between ABC, CBS, and, NBC they decried Israel’s effective response after the Iron Dome saved lives and the latter suggested Israel was the escalator.
The report on NBC Nightly News was arguably the most egregious as correspondent Matt Bradley blamed Israel for the military exchange. “Tonight in the Holy Land, one of the most dangerous escalations in years. After Israeli missiles killed at least 20 people in the Gaza Strip,” he said
Only after the fact did he admit that “Israel's attack [was] retaliation for these rockets. As many as 150 of them. Launched at Jerusalem by the Palestinian militant group Hamas. Sparking alerts that sent Jerusalem residents scrambling.”
Later in the report, Bradley actually seemed to be more concerned about the situation forcing President Biden to take a side. And he pushed the myth of an Israeli “occupation” in the process:
BRADLEY: But some Palestinian officials are demanding U.S. President Joe Biden take a side.
DR. HANI ABDEEN (Al-Quds University, medical school dean): Let him look at our system and see how Palestinians live under this brutal occupation. We want to be free people.
BRADLEY: America's new President hasn't said much about the conflict. But he may have to. Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowing tonight: "Those who attack us will pay a heavy price." A pledge that might push Biden's White House to get involved.
Meanwhile on ABC and CBS, they had a problem with Israel responding to the rockets because they were using more effective airstrikes.
Despite admitting Hamas made “a dramatic escalation in violence” with “more than 150 rockets launched into Israel from Gaza” on ABC’s World News Tonight, chief global affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz whined: “Most of the rockets stopped by Israel's defense system, the Iron Dome. But retaliation was swift and deadly. Israeli airstrikes hitting Gaza within hours.”
As for their part, CBS Evening News featured correspondent Elizabeth Palmer complaining about the imbalance:
In the late afternoon, a barrage of Hamas rockets streaked out of Gaza toward Jerusalem. They appeared to do minimal damage. But Israel responded immediately with airstrikes, which the Palestinians say injured and killed civilians including nine children.”
And notice how they’re more than willing to parrot the claims of slain civilians and kids from the terrorist government of Gaza without any evidence. It’s reminiscent of how they mourned for the 62 supposed civilians that were killed at the border in 2018. They then dropped the issue after Hamas admitted 50 were terrorists. They also pushed a bogus claim that a baby was killed by tear gas. And a few months later, they were bored by the 108 Israeli civilian casualties hit by Hamas rockets.
They’re more than willing to side with genocidal terrorists.
This support for a terrorist organization was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Oral-B on ABC, Prevagen on CBS, and Liberty Mutual on NBC. Their contact information is linked so you can tell them about the biased news they fund.

MARTHA RADDATZ: Tonight, a dramatic escalation in violence. More than 150 rockets launched into Israel from Gaza by the militant group Hamas. And for the first time since the Gaza war in 2014, at least seven of the rockets targeting the holy city of Jerusalem. Air raid sirens wailing as Israelis took cover in their homes, a children's ballet class huddled in a classroom.
Amazingly, no one was hurt. Most of the rockets stopped by Israel's defense system, the Iron Dome. But retaliation was swift and deadly. Israeli airstrikes hitting Gaza within hours. The Palestinians saying at least 20 people were killed, including three children. The Israelis saying only three militants were hit.

ELIZABETH PALMER: In the late afternoon, a barrage of Hamas rockets streaked out of Gaza toward Jerusalem. They appeared to do minimal damage. But Israel responded immediately with airstrikes, which the Palestinians say injured and killed civilians including nine children.
Serious violence broke out on Friday around Jerusalem's Al Aqsa mosque. Palestinians furious with Israeli curbs on gathering during Ramadan hurled rocks at police who fired stun grenades. Some landing inside the mosque itself. By this morning, the protestors had barricaded themselves inside Al Aqsa while running skirmishes continued with Israeli police.
