Want the Opposite of a Joyous July 4 DC Patriot? See WashPost Reporter

July 7th, 2019 10:03 AM
In Saturday's Washington Post, it was time for another one of those features exploring the strange world of the Trump Fans, in this case, the people who happily squeezed onto the Mall in Washington for the president's July 4 rally. The Post turned to writer Dan Zak, who sounds like a perpetual snark machine. He quoted Einstein that nationalism is like measles....so the crowd were like a horde of…

WashPost Columnist Can't Mourn MAD Magazine Without TDS Attack

July 6th, 2019 9:52 PM
It is never a good idea to write while suffering from a case of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Such was the case with Washington Post columnist David Von Drehle on Friday when writing about the imminent demise of Mad Magazine. However instead of concentrating on Alfred E. Newman, poor Drehle just couldn't get his mind off of You-Know-Who.

WashPost Tags Delaney as 'Four Pinocchios' Liar, Bernie Sanders Spared

July 5th, 2019 1:59 PM
The Washington Post “Fact Checker” squad threw a “Four Pinocchios” flag at a Democrat....so he probably said something liberals don't like. In fact, back-bench presidential candidate John Delaney hyperbolically stated in the first presidential debate that if a “Medicare For All” single-payer health-care system were installed and hospitals were paid at current Medicare rates, “to some extent, we’…

Tucker Carlson Calls Out Washington Post For Flip-Flop

July 3rd, 2019 4:26 PM
If President Trump walked on water, the headline would be Trump can’t swim. Most are familiar with this joke because the underlying sentiment behind it is essentially the truth. Once the liberal media gets wind of President Trump’s position on an issue, they actively go against it. On his Tuesday night show, Fox News host Tucker Carlson highlighted the most recent example of this in the pages of…

July 3rd, 2019 2:31 PM

The left have cheered Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D-MA) rise in the polls after the Democrat debates. Now they have pronounced her Wall Street’s choice for the 2020 presidential election. Bloomberg reporters Lananh Nguyen and Tyler Pager on July 3 praised Warren for drawing support from a “small but growing circle of senior bankers and hedge fund managers” on Wall Street. They presented Warren as…

Warning From the Wash Post: Liberals Find Alabama So ‘Embarrassing’

July 3rd, 2019 7:00 AM
The Washington Post on Tuesday made it pretty clear: The paper isn’t a big fan of conservative Alabama. Writer Karen Heller penned a 2500 word essay citing all the people embarrassed by the state. The story somehow connected Alabama’s horrific examples of lynching with the newly-passed pro-life legislation.

Fake! Planned Parenthood Honors Its Favorite Reporters...and Comedian

June 30th, 2019 9:30 AM
Planned Parenthood handed out their annual Media Excellence Awards last week. They used to be called "Maggie Awards," after their founder Margaret Sanger. They proclaimed "We are so thankful for their fearless and honest reporting about what is at risk when people are denied one of their most fundamental human rights — their access to health care." But some of these don't award "excellence" --…

This Huge DC Museum Cannot Get Enough of 'Iconic' Liberal Jon Stewart

June 28th, 2019 10:34 PM
The huge journalism museum called the Newseum is closing in December at its current location in the center of Washington, but it's going out in the usual liberal style: with a new exhibit paying tribute to Jon Stewart's 16-year fake-news tenure on The Daily Show on Comedy Central. In Friday's Washington Post, feature writer Rudi Greenberg touted all the (liberal) excitement:

WashPost Asks 'Where's the Outrage' for Carroll's Assault Allegation?

June 27th, 2019 2:40 PM
Washington Post political reporter Amber Phillips jetted right past objectivity on Wednesday and ranted about the lack of outrage over author E. Jean Carroll's allegations of sexual assault by Donald Trump in a dressing room from the mid-1990s. In the cover story of Thursday's edition of the Post's free tabloid Express, the headline was this: "Last week, E. Jean Carroll became the 16th woman to…

WashPost Gives Left Reality Check on Nordic ‘Socialism’

Business
June 26th, 2019 1:11 PM
Washington Post economic editorial writer Charles Lane called out proponents of socialism citing Nordic countries as a “model” for the kind of socialism they want to see replicated by America. Because, while they are “success stories,” they aren’t really the socialist utopias claimed by liberal presidential candidates like Sen. Bernie Sanders, (I-VT). Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-…

The New York Times, CNN and Deliberate Omission in Journalism

June 22nd, 2019 4:00 PM
You can’t make this stuff up. There —  in the pages not of the New York Times but rather the Wall Street Journal — was no less than the publisher of the Times, A.G. Sulzberger, as he blasted the President of the United States. And in the very first paragraph Sulzberger misled readers.

What Planned Parenthood Lingo Won't the WashPost Repeat Like Robots?

June 21st, 2019 8:14 AM
The Washington Post issued a Planned Parenthood press release on Thursday, badly disguised as a "news article." Ariana Eunjung Cha's dispatch was loaded with PP boilerplate. The Trump team has a "gag rule" that hurts the "women's health care provider" and "endangers the health of millions of women." Millions of babies are not to be considered.

June 17th, 2019 4:25 PM
Just when you think the the Washington Post (Motto: “Democracy Gets Somnolent at Sunset”) can’t get more Postie, it publishes a “perspective” piece titled: “Twenty-five years ago, O.J. Simpson showed white Americans just how conditional their comfort with black athletes was.”
