Disgraced former deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe made the media rounds Tuesday promoting his new book, which is full of salacious claims and stopped by The View for a lengthy discussion about it. However, only co-hosts Meghan McCain and Abby Huntsman called into question McCabe’s stories, even though he was fired from the FBI for lying to federal investigators.

Tuesday on The View, the hosts addressed the updates to the Jussie Smollett case that suggests there is evidence he fabricated his entire story of being assaulted by two Trump supporters. ABC on Friday thrust a sexist, bizarre “art” project at Ivanka Trump and demanded to know “how does it make you feel?” Unsurprisingly, she didn’t like it. In an interview for Good Morning America, Abby Huntsman tried to thrust a picture of a 16-year-old model vacuuming up crumbs. 

Well this didn’t age well. A video has resurfaced online this week showing View co-host Joy Behar actually bragging about wearing dark makeup to dress up as an “African woman” for Halloween one year. That admission came during the May 13, 2016 episode of The View, dug up by the same website that found the Ralph Northam blackface photos.

Tuesday on The View, the hosts interviewed potential 2020 independent candidate and former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz. Despite Schultz’s liberal politics, the notion that he could be more moderate than Democrats running and thus steal votes away from Dems has driven the media to hysterics, including the women at The View.

The mood at ABC’s The View alternated between sheer glee over Roger Stone’s arrest Friday morning, and anger over the government shutdown. Friday co-host Ana Navarro gushed that furloughed workers should essentially dine and dash at Trump property hotels to show their disgust for the administration.

Just when you think The View can’t get any more unwatchable, they bring on CNN journalists as their guests. On Thursday's show, host Chris Cuomo came on to talk about pretty much everything in the news cycle except Covington. He even defended Buzzfeed for their inaccurate anti-Trump report released last week, while defending his own network as having no bias but slamming Fox News for its own.
