After ex-Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti was arrested by the FBI for extortion and fraud, the hosts of the View reacted to it on Tuesday’s show. Co-host Joy Behar, who had previously lauded the celebrity lawyer for “saving the country,” admitted she was heartbroken over Avenatti’s fall from grace.

Even as many in the media admitted defeat, after the Special Counsel report revealed no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia in the 2016 election, the hosts of ABC’s The View refused to concede this whole charade over collusion was over. Co-host Sunny Hostin expressed the table’s sentiment the best, gushing, “We don’t know anything [yet]!”

The co-hosts of The View unanimously praised former DNC Chair Donna Brazile for joining Fox News Channel’s lineup as a regular contributor, on Tuesday’s show. They praised the decision as good for independents to get a liberal voice from the network, and Whoopi Goldberg even claimed that it was a sign Fox News would be returning to doing “news.”

While journalists may be on the “Beto Bus,” the ladies of The View certainly aren’t, (yet anyway.) Entertainment media continue to wage war on President Donald Trump and conservatives, with major networks, cable TV, and streaming services hurling insults and ignorant opinions at every opportunity. In February alone, at least 40 separate entertainment programs attacked conservative values and/or President Donald Trump while promoting a hardcore progressive agenda.  

On The View Tuesday co-host Sunny Hostin was the only one at the table who disagreed with Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, after she dismissed calls within her own party to impeach President Trump, saying he “wasn’t worth it.” Hostin disagreed, gushing that it was Democrats’ “job” and duty to start impeachment proceedings in the House, even if it didn’t go anywhere in the Senate.

The hosts of The View Friday were unanimously angry about ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s 47-month-long sentencing by a judge Thursday, calling it “immoral” “shameful” and wishing that he’d “rot in jail for the rest of his life.” Host Joy Behar even shared her own conspiracy theories that the judge was a Trump supporter and wondered if Mitch McConnell had something to do with it.

Disney CEO Bob Iger on Thursday was confronted about media hypocrisy when it comes to blackface. Two of ABC’s hosts, Jimmy Kimmel and Joy Behar, have both used blackface in the past. Yet, Iger insisted that “context” must be considered for these cases. (ABC, as a reminder, is owned by Disney.)

Meghan McCain was the only co-host to take the environmentalist Democrat to task over the Green Deal, laying out specific problems with it. Even though Vermont Democrat senator and 2020 presidential candidate Bernie Sanders identifies as a “democratic socialist” he was pressed from the left by the co-hosts of The View on Friday’s show. Bernie fan Joy Behar actually apologized for having to ask him “tough questions.”

Is there no conversation Joy Behar won’t hijack to turn it into a rant about Donald Trump? The liberal View co-host on Thursday co-opted  a conversation with actor Tyler Perry from Black History Month to ranting about the “thug” Trump. She started shouting, “It’s Shameful! It’s shameful.”
