It’s good to be a Democrat running for president on ABC's The View. The combative, liberal women are prone to interrupt and attack if a Republican presidential candidate comes on. But Joe Biden appeared on Tuesday for a friendly, gushing interview that lasted 24 minutes and 41 seconds. He faced almost no tough questions and talked for minutes on end without an interruption.

While Joy Behar has been absent from the show, her View co-host Sunny Hostin has gladly embraced her new role as the one having meltdowns over President Trump. After she spread lies about Trump on Friday’s show, she started Tuesday’s show floating a conspiracy theory that President Trump had greedy ulterior motives for wanting to reopen the economy soon.

That was evident on The View Friday, as co-host Sunny Hostin peddled a debunked lie about President Trump while she, and her co-host Meghan McCain whined about how conservatives only get their news from Fox News and President Trump.

On The View Friday, the hosts continued speculating about who Democrat frontrunner Joe Biden would pick for his Vice President. After sharing her pipedream last week that either Barack or Michelle Obama could be Biden’s VP, Whoopi continued her nostalgic fantasizing for the Obama years on today’s show, this time suggesting Hillary Clinton be his pick.  

The View hosts found a silver lining to the coronavirus pandemic on Friday’s show, namely, that it proved how well Socialism worked. Co-host Sunny Hostin gushed that the coronavirus has caused Americans to embrace health and work policies that are rooted in socialist philosophies so that was a “wonderful” thing.
