Over the weekend, leftist extremists carried out a terror attack against the pro-life group Wisconsin Family Action by firebombing the office with a Molotov cocktail thrown into the building. But during Tuesday’s edition of ABC’s The View, Whoopi Goldberg refused to discuss the attack, suggesting “[w]e don't know who did that,” even though “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either” was spray-painted outside. And co-host Joy Behar touted the intimidation of conservative justices at their homes.
As self-described Republican and guest co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin was trying to bring up how “there was an anti-abortion clinic that was targeted violently,” Goldberg interrupted to wave off any mention of the topic. “We don't know who did that. We don't know who did that. Let's be really clear about that,” she declared.
She then falsely claimed that the protesters that were gathering outside the homes of conservative justices to intimidate them into changing their draft ruling on overturning Roe v. Wade were “quietly protesting.”
In reality, there’s video of them using megaphones and chanting/screaming loudly.
Goldberg defended the intimidation tactics by whining about how “they allow people to protest across the street from abortion clinics…” “So, I think there's a balance here to be met,” she argued before going to a commercial.
Earlier in the segment, Goldberg seemed to suggest that balance was in using the intimidation tactics to begin with because, according to her warped reality, the draft ruling was intimidation:
GRIFFIN: I think the more appropriate venue is the steps of the Supreme Court. I worry it could begin to look like intimidation when it’s at someone's doorstep. I’m someone –
GOLDBERG: It’s so funny. So does what Alito wrote. Looks the same way to me. It looks like intimidation. Yeah, it’s kind of the same thing.
Behar then chimed in with her ghoulish support for targeting the justices at their homes. “But it also shows Alito what it feels like to lose your freedom of choice. He cannot leave the house easily. So. maybe that's a good lesson for them,” she cheered
Co-host Sunny Hostin, who’s supposedly a trained lawyer, lashed out at Republicans for decrying the intimidation tactics of the left, claiming they don’t support the First Amendment. “What's interesting is, you have Republicans always talking about the Constitution and we have to think about Constitution and our constitutional rights,” she chided.
Adding: “Yet, when we're talking about the right to protest which is a constitutional right when we're talking about our freedom of speech, which is just ingrained in the Constitution, Republicans don't want to hear about it.” Hostin also bizarrely claimed conservatives cite the First Amendment for the right to privacy.
But she was also a bit fearful of the intimidation tactics because there is a law against intimidating a judge at their home.
This refusal to discuss liberal domestic terrorism and praise for intimidation tactics was made possible because of lucrative sponsorships from Ensure and Olay. Their contact information is linked.

11:17:31 a.m. EasternALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: I would say this though. On the issue of the Supreme Court, it's enshrined in the First Amendment you have the right to peaceably assemble. And so far, that’s what we’re seeing outside justice’s houses. I will say this, I think the more appropriate venue is the steps of the Supreme Court. I worry it could begin to look like intimidation when it’s at someone's doorstep. I’m someone –
WHOOPI GOLDBERG: It’s so funny. So does what Alito wrote. Looks the same way to me. It looks like intimidation. And yeah, it’s kind of the same thing.
JOY BEHAR: But it also shows Alito what it feels like to lose your freedom of choice. He cannot leave the house easily. So maybe that's a good lesson for them.
[Applause]
GRIFFIN: And I will say this, what I did think went too far is Lori Lightfoot, mayor of Chicago, put out a statement saying this is a “call to arms” talking about the potential decision around Roe v. Wade. That is damaging, reckless language. That is not what we need right now. We need to take the temperature down and have a real discussion.

SUNNY HOSTIN: What's interesting is, you have Republicans always talking about the Constitution and we have to think about Constitution and our constitutional rights. You always hear it when it comes to the Second Amendment – truly a call to arms – you always think about it when they don't want to wear their masks or they don't want to be vaccinated. “I have my first amendment right to my privacy.”
Yet, when we're talking about the right to protest which is a constitutional right, when we're talking about our freedom of speech, which is just ingrained in the Constitution, Republicans don't want to hear about it.

GRIFFIN: I one thing I would mention, the language and rhetoric matters. I think that’s a very good point you made, Sunny. Because there was an anti-abortion clinic that was targeted violently. We don't need that--
GOLDBERG (interrupting): Well, here’s the thing. We don't know who did that.
BEHAR: Yeah.
GOLDBERG: We don't know who did that. Let's be really clear about that. Listen, nobody wants anybody to get hurt. That's why they're quietly protesting. But, you know, they allow people to protest across the street from abortion clinics, screaming at women ‘how dare you’ and ‘murderer’ and all that stuff. So, I think there's a balance here to be met.
