The 2024 presidential election has left the media reeling and plunged into a period of self-doubt and introspection. But for a few fleeting moments on NBC’s Meet the Depressed, the media forgot that they got shellacked.

The Regime Media made it their focus to controversialize the Trump cabinet picks on their Sunday Political affairs shows, with results that are mixed at best. Over on NBC’s Meet the Depressed, host Kristen Welker tried that approach and failed badly.

Much as we’re seeing today, in 2016 liberal reporters and commentators savaged Donald Trump’s first group of appointees as “radical” and “racist” “ignoramuses” who “disdain the missions of their assigned agencies.”

NBC's Law & Order took on the Israeli-Gaza conflict last night, showing sympathy for a pro-Hamas protester who is in danger of being deported.

In what could best be described as a naked piece of Regime propaganda, NBC News promoted the left’s latest temper tantrum-induced exodus from X (formerly Twitter). And in so doing, they left out the part about the left’s temper tantrum. 

The Regime Media’s shift into Resistance mode continues apace. The major media outlets uniformly melted down over President Elect Donald Trump’s decision to nominate Robert F. Kennedy to lead the nation’s public health apparatus as Secretary of Health and Human Services.

The election may be over, but some of the Regime Media continue to act as if campaign season were ongoing- particularly as pertains to story selection on the evening news. Case in point, today’s publication of the Consumer Price Index, which shows that inflation persists.

There’s a well-understood comedy axiom that says if you have to explain why something is funny, then it isn’t, but NBC's Saturday Night Live fails to understand this because, in response to Donald Trump’s victory, the cast came together for a cringe-inducing performance where they pretended to support him in an attempt to stay off an enemies list. 

During its five shows during the fall presidential campaign from September 28 through November 2, a Media Research Center study found that NBC’s Saturday Night Live Weekend Update anchors Colin Jost and Michael Che told a total of 38 jokes about Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Of these, 34, or 89 percent, were about Trump.

As Democrats try to determine what went wrong for them after the election, NBC’s Seth Meyers had a simple message on Monday for those blaming wokeness, especially transgender sports: “[bleep] off.” Ironically, Meyers demanded those doing this look at themselves instead of blaming others, which is exactly what Meyers didn’t do.

Late Friday, our friends at the Daily Wire uncovered a massive Biden-Harris administration scandal that blew away the liberal media’s claims that FEMA were taking care of communities affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. NBC’s Seth Meyers mourned on Thursday’s edition of Late Night that our “stupid system” has enabled Donald Trump to escape his legal difficulties and that there are those in the Democratic Party who think the reason why he won is because they are too far left.
