In the aftermath of Ron DeSantis dropping out of the GOP presidential race over the weekend, MSNBC anchor Ayman Mohyeldin led a panel in trashing the Florida governor over his electoral misfortune, hitting him with personal attacks and accusing him of being a terrible governor.

MSNBC’s coverage of the New Hampshire primary has been weird to watch, to say the least. With no large number of white evangelical voters to malign, the network’s coverage quickly shifted to general election mode, which at MSNBC means shilling for President Joe Biden.

Rachel Maddow mostly took the night off due to hoarseness, she came on with Jen Psaki during her time slot and claimed the Republican base is "very eager" for a dictator to end "contested elections." 

Last week on MSNBC, The 11th Hour with the not-so-bright host Stephanie Ruhle tag-teamed with leftist Twitter snob, raging hypocrite, and Hack Madness mainstay Judd Legum to throw a hysterical hissy fit over conservatives launching a charter school in South Carolina and Hillsdale College writing grade-school curriculums teaching students to — wait for it — love America.

On Morning Joe, the normally avuncular Eugene Robinson takes nasty shots at Ron DeSantis on the occasion of his suspending his campaign for the GOP primary. The show quotes from Robinson's most recent Washington Post column in which he mocks DeSantis' "awfully high heels on his cowboy boots."

We are at the stage of the electoral cycle wherein drive-bys openly express their dissatisfaction at the insufficiency of an attack levied against a Republican- in this case, former President Donald Trump.

On Morning Joe, commenting on Ron DeSantis's withdrawal from the race, Joe Scarborough says that DeSantis made the mistake of trying to get into the lane that Donald Trump had already filled, that of the super-MAGA voters. Scarborough depicted Trump as the "Fat Elvis" of 1977, and that people going to see him in Las Vegas weren't going to instead choose a knock-off imitation of Fat Elvis. 

Every once in a while, MSNBC host Joy Reid grants a platform to a conservative, risking that her audience will faint at the presence of an opposing viewpoint. On Friday night's edition of The Reidout (aka Freakout), Reid gave time to Moms for Liberty co-founder Tiffany Justice.

Since 2008, the NewsBusters archives shows the intensive political coverage surrounding the New Hampshire primary has been a chance for journalists to take gratuitous potshots at conservative candidates, while liberals (often referred to as “moderates”) are treated to rock-star treatment.

On MSNBC's The Weekend, George Conway, co-founder of the disgraced Lincoln Project denounces Donald Trump, hurling a string of epithets, including "psychopath, narcissistic sociopath, moron." He said he has "no strategy." But er, somehow he's dominating the GOP primaries and leading Biden in many polls.

You can’t make it up. Former President Donald Trump wins the Iowa Caucuses in a blowout, winning 51% of the vote. But when he arrives to give the traditional televised thank-you victory speech, MSNBC blacked him out. CNN gave him a few minutes before dumping out. Usually, they're not that generous. 

MSNBC chief legal correspondent and host of The Beat, Ari Melber joined author and newsletter publisher Andrew Sullivan on the season premiere of HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher on Friday where he struggled to defend his employer against Sullivan’s charge that the network is simply “propaganda all the time.”

On Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough. in a transparent attempt to cover for Biden's obvious decrepitude, makes multiple comments about Trump allegedly being in decline, not well, shuffling, losing multiple steps, etc.
