MSNBC's Tehran bureau chief Ali Arouzi, who on Tuesday evening recklessly repeated Iranian state media claims that 30 American soldiers were killed during Tuesday night's missile attack, was at it again on Wednesday on MSNBC Live with Hallie Jackson where he declared, contrary to all evidence, that Ayatollah Khamenei was getting exactly what he wanted.

In a truly bizarre attempt to be woke – even by liberal media standards – at the top of her 2:00 p.m. ET hour show on Wednesday, MSNBC anchor Katy Tur bitterly complained about President Trump being “flanked by stern white military men” during his White House address to nation regarding Iran earlier in the day.

Concerned that President Trump may not have fully thought through the possible ramifications of droning Qasem Soleimani, MSNBC Live host Stephanie Ruhle wondered on Monday why Trump suddenly trusts the intelligence agencies. Ironically, the answer she got from the panel showed it was MSNBC that is the one that apparently has problems trusting the IC.

On Tuesday’s Hardball and reacting to Iran having launched missiles at an Iraqi military base housing U.S. soldiers, NBC News Tehran bureau chief Ali Arouzi likely bolstered his perch in the eyes of the Iranian regime, promoting one propaganda point after another to MSNBC host Chris Matthews. This included the utterly false claim that “30 U.S. soldiers have been killed in this attack.”

For days now, leftwing TV news networks have expressed horror over the U.S. airstrike that killed Iranian General Qasem Soleimani. While their reasons varied, nearly every cable and broadcast journalist agreed that President Trump had caused an international disaster — and, perhaps, a war.
