CBS vice presidential debate co-moderator and host of Face the Nation Margaret Brennan offered an unqualified and evidence-free defense of Vice President Kamala Harris- specifically, her widely panned price control proposals, which former President Donald Trump and many others have labeled as “communism”.

It appears that, as pertains to their interview of Senator JD Vance, some of the Regime Media Sunday hosts were singing from the same hymnal; particularly on a question that was racially loaded and intended to serve multiple purposes.

We were reliably told that attacks against the courts were attacks against our very institutions, and therefore on Democracy™ itself. That is, unless you are a Democrat appearing on a Regime Media Sunday political affairs show and attacking a majority-conservative Supreme Court. In which case, fire at will. Figuratively, hopefully.

Daily Wire host Michael Knowles applauded CBS Face the Nation moderator Margaret Brennan for laying bare the absurdity of a Biden administration initiative. When questioned on CBS, Biden Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg had no good defense for the absurdly slow and expensive rollout of electric vehicle (EV) chargers across the country.

On Easter Sunday, CBS’s Face the Nation turned to two prominent Washington religious leaders. One of them was Cardinal Wilton Gregory, the Catholic archbishop of Washington. When host Ed O'Keefe tried to get Gregory to define how Biden "resonates" with his church, Gregory categorized him as a "cafeteria Catholic," who only chooses the teaching he likes. 

By “surprise”, of course I mean none whatsoever. Once again, the media have taken a quote from former President Donald Trump, stripped it of context, and forwarded a false narrative. In this case, the media took Trump’s threat of 100% tariffs against Chinese electric cars manufactured in Mexico, and falsely turned it into a threat of political violence unless he is elected. A Face the Nation segment on former President Donald Trump’s remarks at the Black Conservative Federation gala in South Carolina led into a bizarre take by Robert Costa lamenting the lack of a GOP reckoning for Trump on immigration, of all things. Perhaps, at this point, we should reconsider naming the program “Faceplant the Nation”.

Interviews, especially those of candidates and elected officials with their ability to filibuster and avoid answering questions, are often edited for brevity and clarity so as to accommodate production demands.
