NBC's Today show on Friday completely ignored the revelation that the Clinton Foundation failed to report over $26 million dollars in donations. ABC's Good Morning America allowed a scant 20 seconds on the topic. CBS This Morning focused on the unfolding Clinton scandal in general, but didn't specifically report on the latest news.

All three networks on Thursday again skipped Barack Obama lecturing the Coast Guard Academy that ignoring the "serious threat" of climate change is a "dereliction of duty." On Thursday, CBS This Morning acted as an unofficial spokesperson for First Lady Michelle Obama as they eagerly promoted a video of her working out at the gym. For their part, ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Today did not cheerlead for Mrs. Obama during their broadcasts. 

Time was, burning an American flag was a reliable way of getting on network TV, there to shock the taxpayers over their TV dinners. But these days, the network news programs don’t seem interested in American flag desecration, unless it happens in the Middle East.
