Univision’s anchors might have positioned themselves to win an acting Emmy for portraying themselves to their viewers as though they’ve never heard of the immigration-via-budget-reconciliation bill they’ve been pushing ever since President Joe Biden took office. 

Univision's recent report on the upcoming implementation of California's Prop 12, which imposes significant restrictions on the sale of pork (and other products) in that state, shows the lengths to which the network will go to protect a liberal policy agenda- even at expense of their viewers' best interests.

The first segment tried to frame a reduced turnout of protesters in Miami as a sign that regime opponents are losing hope. The second segment then devoted over nine minutes of uncontested false information and communist propaganda.

The popular uprising against Cuba’s totalitarian communist dictatorship has been a source of bad media takes and dopey whataboutism, but Telemundo’s morning anchor raced to the top of the fetid pile with his use of the SOS Cuba protests as an instrument with which to bash Republicans over Texas’ election security legislation.

Univision’s latest effort to disinform and deceive its audience comes via its report on the Texas Democrats that fled to Washington, per anchor Jorge Ramos, to “boycott voting on a bill that would restrict the voting rights of Hispanics and African-Americans.”

In Estrella Network’s evening show journalists Mirthala Salinas and Armando Guzmán spend an entire segment attacking both old and new election reform laws by framing them with the same old nondescript racist and anti-minority ideas. 

CNN En Español couldn’t resist the urge to turn a report on anti-communist protests in Miami into a cheap dunk on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, going so far as to air a false on-screen chyron that read: “Some Causes Are More Noble Than Others According to DeSantis. 

Univision News is fully aware that time is running out for Biden to make good the generous promises of immigration reform made to the open-borders base. But in a recent report about a group of activists calling for the end of Title 42 deportations, the network acted as a buffer for the White House.
