Tuesday evening, Politico published a story revealing House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) “mischaracterized,” a text message exchange sent between Rudy Giuliani and his former business associate, Lev Parnas. However, this revelation didn’t make the cut on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN or MSNBC on Tuesday all the way into Wednesday morning.

In a Sunday segment on so-called “Reliable Sources”, media janitor and host Brian Stelter proved how much of a clown show CNN was by trotting out disgraced journalist Dan Rather to talk about, of all things: why the “truth still matters.” At the same time, Stelter wanted Rather to talk about how the “truth is closing in” on President Trump, and how the President apparently runs a cult.

Stop the presses! CNN’s Brian Stelter, wants you to know that he reports on the facts and nothing but the facts. Of course, in reality this assertion could not be farther from the truth, but the host made the claim regardless on Sunday’s Reliable Sources.

At the Daily Signal, John Cooper of the Heritage Foundation warned he had an unhappy experience with the "fact checking" unit at CNN. They reached out to Heritage for analysis of President Trump's recent comments about the American military's munitions stockpile when he took office. "CNN completely omitted the wealth of data provided by a Heritage Foundation defense analyst."

Congressman Adam Schiff was caught in a lie by The New York Times on Wednesday, although they didn’t make that point. The newspaper reported the whistleblower contacted Schiff’s committee and discussed his complaint in vague terms, and those terms were passed along to Schiff. CNN host Brian Stelter opened Sunday’s edition of Reliable Sources with a discussion about the “I” word: “impeachment.” Stelter argued that “President Trump is winning the messaging war about impeachment.” Echoing the talking points Slate’s Dahlia Lithwick made on the show two weeks ago, Stelter claimed that “the list of potentially impeachable conduct grows longer every week.”

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Theresa May held a joint press conference during his state visit to the United Kingdom. The included Trump acting diplomatic towards his hosts, and he even extended an olive branch to May when he quipped that she was probably a better negotiator than him, but that didn’t stop CNN from running hourly coverage of the protests in London.

For Tuesday’s edition of Prime Time, CNN host Chris Cuomo invited on pompous Toronto Star fact checker Daniel Dale to try to catch President Trump in lies about immigration and border. Unfortunately, Dale couldn't bring himself to fact-check an obviously dubious claim from Williams. President Trump hosted Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven on Tuesday at the White House and, like with most foreign dignitary appearances, the two held a joint press conference featuring two reporters each from their countries. Right on cue, some liberals turned into snowflakes upon seeing Trump call on the Daily Caller’s Saagar Enjeti.

Keith Olbermann has proclaimed with all his usual bluster that he is “retiring from political commentary in all media venues” now that he is secure in the knowledge that President Trump’s time in the White House “will end prematurely and end soon.” Many people don’t believe this claim, just as it was wise to doubt Bill Moyers and Cher when they said they were retiring, and then un-retired.
