Keith Olbermann has proclaimed with all his usual bluster that he is “retiring from political commentary in all media venues” now that he is secure in the knowledge that President Trump’s time in the White House “will end prematurely and end soon.” Is this too good to be true? Many people don’t believe this claim, just as it was wise to doubt Bill Moyers and Cher when they said they were retiring, and then un-retired.
In his last episode of "The Resistance" for GQ magazine, Olbermann declared there are “seven routes” to Trump’s impeachment, and “I am confident now even more so than I have been throughout the last year that this nightmare presidency of Donald John Trump will end prematurely and end soon, and I am thus also confident that this is the correct moment to end this series of commentaries.”
Some smelled sexual harassment allegations on the way, but Olbermann said “No illness. No scandal. No firing. Just I’ve said what I’ve had to say. It was as obvious as I made it seem. I give my work everything I can, so it’s not like I can dial it back.”
The last tweet ABOUT the last edition of #TheResistanceGQ. My work here is done. As a matter of fact, so is Trump’s pic.twitter.com/NzguN6uvL3

Olbermann said the recent news that special counsel Robert Mueller is negotiating with former Trump aide Michael Flynn is the most obvious route of impeachment. “Mueller really will get him on Russia. It will be ugly and it will tear this country nearly apart, but it will be necessary.” We all have to call out “Russian sabotage” of Hillary’s election, or er, the election.
“I am retiring from political commentary in all media venues,” Krazy Keith concluded. “Thank you for all the kind words and all the support. Have fun storming the castle. My work here is done. Matter of fact, so is Trump’s.” He recommended everyone follow the Twitter feed of Trump-hating Canadian reporter Daniel Dale...which pegs just how objective Dale is.
