Following NBC’s hostile coverage of President Trump’s State of the Union address and fawning over a “strong” Democratic response from Stacey Abrams Tuesday night, the network decided to get reaction from the far left as it invited on socialist New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for a softball chat about her radical views.

In a live edition of The Daily Show, host Trevor Noah brought on New York Times columnist Frank Bruni to freak out over the “blood-soaked and lawless” State of the Union. The entire crew of CBS This Morning appeared on a special live edition of the Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Unsurprisingly, they were “disturbed” by the President’s talk of a wall on the southern border and of his touting of the U.S. economy. 

While more tamed than NBC’s trainwreck State of the Union coverage, there was still moments of liberal bias Tuesday night on ABC’s coverage that knocked the speech being delivered by a President with “real tension” and praised the Democratic response by Stacey Abrams as having “vivid language and energetic delivery.”

Despite a CBS News/You Gov poll showing 76 percent of viewers approving of President Trump’s Tuesday State of the Union address, CNN chief national correspondent John King blasted the speech as a “disgrace” because it didn’t touch on topics important to liberals. Most notably, according to King, climate change.
